Most high schoolers abhor reading. Read the classics later in life and you will enjoy them much more.

Great thread.
Favorite: Most have already been mentioned but I'll throw in Bel Canto in the mix. Also, I had to read Band of Brothers which was a treat.
Least Favorite: The Awakening. I just remember it wreaked of feminism which didn't really resonate with a class of all boys in high school.

Man that book bored me like no other. I know that some bad shite happened....but the same bad shite happened on every page it felt like. Was a long time ago though.....maybe if I read it now.....but I won't.
