Miami would be my pick. As someone posted above, they pride themselves on not speaking English.

Dearborn, MI comes to mind.

Miami. I can get around the whole city on spanish. Lots of foreign wealth here as well.
So true.

New York City and West Palm Beach feel more like Israel because of all the blue haired yentas one will see in those places.

I would put both of these among the highest that would feel like America in the country.
With all of the boring arse vanilla and bland cities in the U.S populated by mcmansion cookie cutter subdivisions and all chain stores, you think Miami and N.O. feel very American?

For people who love architecture in both commercial buildings and private homes, N.O. very much as a great deal of European feel in several areas. Lots of international travel publications will point to this about the city.

It is not even close, looks and feels like a south/central american city

Most of south Louisiana feels very foreign because of all the brunette people of Mediterranean extraction. It just doesn't make outsiders feel as though they are in the same country as that which the Founders descended from.

Anywhere in the Rio Grande Valley in TX. Mexico north..

Probably somewhere in Hawaii. I mean that place wasn't even USA until 55 years ago, and it's an island in the Pacific Ocean.
From what I've been to, Laredo TX, the least diverse city in the country. 98% Hispanic. Definitely Laredo. The downtown feels like you are in Mexico.

San Antonio is the answer here

The correct answer is Dearborn, MI. Or maybe Hamtramck, MI, where the city government broadcasts the Islamic call to prayer five times per day. I doubt there's any other city in the western hemisphere that does this.
Lulz at the people saying NO has a European feel...

Well, we wouldn't expect those who come to N.O. to eat fried food and drink hand grenades to understand something like that.

The obvious answer is Laredo, TX.
