I've never tried one I didn't enjoy. A few of my favorites are Golden, Mardi Gras Bock, and an occasional Strawberry.

I really want to like Abita beers but most are just very average. Amber is ok and very drinkable and Turbodog is ok but the rest don't do anything for me.

Their Mayhawk select was my favorite.. too bad it'll probably never come back around.
As far as their regular lineup, probably turbodog. But there are many other beers I'd drink first.

Never had any of the Abita selects though so I can't judge them.

The strawgator is by far my favorite. Problem is I can't find it anywhere near Lake Charles or Lafayette. Anyone know where to get some? Do they even have it in bottles?

their beers suck. amber is terrible. andygator is decent. purple haze taste like skittle beer and strawberry is made from strawberry juice and taste like rotten fruit roll ups. they are an embarrassment of louisiana and thank god we have better breweries now like parish nola tin roof and gnarly barley

None are great but Amber is solid beer you can drink daily and they have a few others that are pretty good. Jockamo is awful though.

I love beer. Therefore i drink and like just about anything Abita makes that isnt light. Amber is my go to drinker. Jockamo every once in awhile. Restoration when i can find it. Turbodog after a good meal. Golden with a meal. I will buy Parish beer 9/10 times over Abita (South Coast, Envie and Ghost) but im not going to shite on Abita. Anyone that considers Tin Roof to make better beer has questionable morals.
