In 2016 will the Republicans try to make Obama the issue?

This board was livid in 2008 that Obama and the Democrats were making Bush such an issue. I'm curious if this board will stick to their principles and not make Obama an issue in 2016 or if your hypocrisy will show once again.

I believen it is impossible not to make the former president the issue if you are the other party. If there is nothing wrong with the old administration, why switch parties?

I don't really recall that but I'll take your word for it. To answer the question, Republicans would be incredibly stupid not to make Obama an issue if he continues to grow more unpopular.

I'm sure some on this board will be no more or less hypocritical as those on the left who insisted that Bush was the overriding issue in 2008.

I they were smart, they would show the conclusive proof that Obama did not live up to his campaign promises so why should people vote for another democrat?

However, they are not smart and will run another social conservative who spouts off about big government and gay marriage.

Is Obama running again? Why would he personally be the issue? He is not personally the issue now. His policies are. If the 2016 Democrat nominee continues his policies, then that is the issue. Not the man himself. He is not running.

If the board was livid over anything, it was the media's portrayal of McCain as Bush 3.0

Of course what we now know is Obama is actually Bush 3.0.

Yes, Obama will be the issue. Obamacare and Common Core in Education also. Last Monday, the old Romney people of La. and Ms. got together for a meeting and dinner. You can Keep your Dr.,you can keep your policy, and a cost reduction of $2500.00 will be repeated over and over. It's already being discussed. We are torn between candidates, it's a toss up right now. We really want someone new that can take the Democratic lies and attacks that's coming. Maybe a sitting Governor that's been through it.

Conservatives only started to be annoyed with Obama's blaming of push after the first two years.

Nobody was livid. I remember a lot of folks being perplexed and amused at the strategy.....certainly the American voters wouldn't be dumb enough to fall for it. Well, they (and you) did.
