Anthony Davis is on pace to join Olajuwon & David Robinson as only 3rd player in NBA history to average 20 ppg, 10 rpg, 3 block & 1.5 steals

What reason do you have to think those numbers will go down? He's only been trending up recently, Ryan Anderson and Jason Smith are out for the season, Holiday probably is too. Who on this team do you see taking stats from Davis?

Exactly. Maybe his shooting % and TO's will go down, although it's debateable, but his overall stats will only go up as his usage goes up

Davis was nearly chosen as a reserve but missed by one spot in voting by Western Conference head coaches, a person with knowledge of the details told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because vote totals were not released.

Hopefully next year AD won't have to rely on the coaches.

No reason to believe they will go down per se, but he is so close to some of those numbers that a game or 2 could drop him below those averages. ex he's at 1.5 blocks, 3.3 steals, 20.5 pts, etc.

Steals are the only worry that I'd have about him not getting his 1.5. Everything else will be fine.

30pt/10reb games:

Howard: 5
Davis: 2

Doubles doubles:
Howard: 32/50games = 64%
Davis: 22/40games = 55%

I am glad that the only stats you can come up with that favor Howard are double doubles and 30/10s. Good god man. Howard isn't even on the same plane as Davis and the Rockets with Anthony Davis would probably be looking at an NBA Finals appearance. The surrounding pieces in Houston are pretty much exactly what NOLA should be building towards.

Lin/Harden/Parsons/Davis/Asik is scary.

If he said "Congrats AD" people would assume his twitter got hacked.

Those were 2 that can't to mind that I knew wouldn't be close. You could also look at defensive rating and defensive win shares if you would like to see some defensive numbers.

And you're right Houston would possibly be heading to the finals if they had Davis. They also are possibly heading to the finals without him. I'll take the team we have now over your imaginary team.

You are delusional man.

"Lin/Harden/Parson/Jones/Howard >> Lin/Harden/Parsons/Davis/Asik"

Not even your fellow Rocketards would agree with you there.

Enjoy being almost successful as long as you can because Howard's game isn't built on anything other than sheer athleticism and that's even starting to decline.
