Did it shock anyone else that he was only 46? I could've sworn he was much older.

Horrible news. I thought he was very talented. It's a shame seeing anyone that young pass away.

Did they finish filming Mocking Jay? He was born for that role.

He was a great actor and one of my favorites.

What makes a man, clean and sober for 23 years fall back into that?

1) Forgetting the troubles it's caused you.

2) Arrogance. Thinking you are the one person who can overcome it.

I have many friends who have struggled with pain pills/ heroin. They all started snorting OxyContin and graduated to shooting heroin. Way cheaper to just get heroin. Most people die from mixing the drugs. I know of a few that died from taking Xanax and shooting dope. Or from uppers and oxys/ heroin. It's sad to see.. My best friend still fights that shite to this day. He's in jail now, but told me the other day that a 22 year old dude he met in the program died right next to him right before he went to jail. Said they were shooting dope and smoking mojo and the dude passed out.. Only later to find him dead. It's definitely a disease I'm glad I don't possess.

I'm somewhat surprised that so many of you know multiple people who are addicted to or died from an OD of heroin.

Anti-gun liberal elitist. Thought that if guns were banned then people wouldn't be able to get them. OD'd on illegal heroin. Good for him.

I read that he finished his scenes for Part 1, but he had ab a week left of shooting for Part 2. It'll be interesting to see how they handle it.

Not just cheaper ,but heroin is probably easier to score than some pescription opiates.

Well that's definitely some morbid and unfortunate irony.

MSG isn't lying unfortunately. Hang out with the party hard crowd when you are younger, it is not that far fetched. Most of us grew out of it and straightened up. Those that didn't kept going and progressed to this shite. I know of a couple that OD'ed last year as well.
