Worst experience at a restaurant

Mine was in high school when we took a trip to DC. We went to a place where they had knights jousting and everything and that itself was terrible. I then asked the server for some BBQ sauce and he simply told me to "eat shite". The food was awful and was forced to watch weirdos play dress up all night. Worst 2 and a half hours of my life.

kivas on airline
the waitress delivering my moms glass of red wine spilt the whole glass directly on top of my head
i am not a fan of red wine to this day but will drink it if that is the only option

When I was in college, I had a part time job at a jewelry store in the Northgate Mall. (jokes about my age go here). One time I ate at the A&G Cafeteria there, and as I was eating, a huge cockroach crawled across the table. I jumped up and immediately went to the register to pay and let them know. They comped my meal.
I realize I was going to a shitty place, but college kid, college budget. That was probably an hour's pay for my meal.

And you didn't leave immediately after?

at the Cherry Cricket in Denver
I don't know what our bitch waitress's problem was, but she asked "what do you want?" as soon as we sat down, I asked if we could look at the menu, but ordered a beer. She rolled her eyes. 20 minutes later she brings me my beer and takes our order. We get our food, which was mediocre, and we don't see her till she brings the check, which she just tossed on the table. No refills, no nothing.

I've read that 5 times today and laughed every time. Hysterical.

My worst experience was at Ginos, we were seated near the kitchen when this old man(owner or something) wearing this brown polyester jogging suit started screaming at one of the waiters to go do his job...the screaming eventually turned into a 10 minute cursing tirade right there in front of all of us customers...haven't been back since

Ha!
I don't have bad experiences really. I go where I know I'll be happy.
I've walked out of places where I felt like things were going south.

I went to Sake Cafe on Magazine last Sunday and it took over an hour (not embellishing - people next to us got up and left after 30 minutes) for our sushi to arrive. The place wasn't even busy. Our waiter apologized maybe 20 times for the terrible kitchen staff.

Are you sure you weren't at Dick's?

Applebee's. I ordered a steak and they brought me a hunk of unidentifiable meat that looked like different cuts of beef fused together with a press. I almost puked when I bit into it.

i don't have any horrible experiences to speak of. i guess my worst may have been at Copelands in BR about 15 years ago. we were seated promptly but took a while to get a waiter. when he finally came to our table, he immediately dropped to his knees, put his head on the table, and started complaining about what a horrible day he was having. finally stopped bitching to take our order, and then we never saw him again. had to flag down other waitstaff to get silverware, someone else brought our food, and then we again had to flag someone else down to get/pay the check.
we should have spoken to a manager but we were young and dumb. i just left him a penny tip, and got out of there. the one and only time i ate at Copelands. serves me right...

Haven't had too many bad ones.
I guess the worst was Ralph's on the Park taking an hour and 15 minutes after our reservation time to seat my party of 4. We couldn't really leave because every where else would have been a long wait if they could even fit us in.
I did get a free make up meal out of it for the next visit.
Another bad one was sitting at a small pizza joint next to a busy highway where a guy got run over and killed out front. Kind of sucks to be eating and watching people run up and try to start pumping on this guys chest. When the ambulance got there it was too late.

"Canoe" in Atlanta...
This is considered to be pretty upscale. Made reservations and arrived 10 minutes early. Was forced to wait another half hour or more before being sat. Not because the restaurant was busy; rather, the place was a ghost town and we had it to ourselves. I ordered a steak dish and had it cooked to medium as most places tend to undercook anyway. Another hour passes and the waiter delivers what appeared to be a large piece of lump charcoal along with our sides. The steak was burnt to a crisp on the outside, the char would flake away as you attempted to cut the steak. Much to my amazement the inside was cold, bloody red and raw. I suspect the meat may have went directly from freezer to broiler.
I mentioned this to the waiter and was soon approached by the manager who decided I must have poor vision and brought me and my plate to a place with "better lighting" so that I could see that the now blood filled plate contained a medium cooked steak.
We agreed to disagree, I paid for our drinks and my wife and I proceeded to another restaurant.

Mine was at Mr. B's. Me and the wife went to NOLA for the weekend. Saturday she had a day full of shopping planned. She told me I could do whatever that day and we'd meet back up that afternoon. We had res at Mr. b's at 7:30. I called my best friend from highschool who now lives down there. He gets me out of the quarter and we go to his screen printing place and start drinking like the old days. We end up at Marky's bar. Doing shots and guzzling beer. At some point during this time my phone dies. frick it, she's shopping, I'm "doing whatever I want" per her instructions. I guess I was shooting shot 7 or 8 when I inclined my head and notice a clock that says 6pm. shite dude, you better get me back to the Montleon I slur. So he did. Right about 7pm. I get to my room and knock on the door. You know, cause I'd lost my room key. She opens the door, madder than shite. Apparently she got lost or could find the some of the shops she was looking for or maxes out all her plastic or something. I shower, she bitches. I'm a quick shower and 10 minutes later there I am, bam, ready to go eat. We walk across the street, and there we are at Mr. Bs with about 8 minutes to spare. We get seated, order drinks and apps. She barely speaks. Whatever I am double fisting a dirty and a Budwieser and don't care. Then the apps come and I dump the pork belly on the table trying to give her a portion. She wants to leave. bullshite, we're staying. I order entrees, hers and mine. And another round for myself of course She glares at me in disbelief. Food gets there. She won't eat, says she's too upset. I get mad and I won't eat. We box it up and split. Her back to the room. Me to the casino. I catch fire on the blackjack tables. Took me till 2am but I walk out with 3,800 clams. I slip back in the room. She's asleep. I put 3k by her head with an apology note. Then pass out on the floor. Next day we enjoyed a nice brunch and some mamosas. I go shopping with her. She blows thru 3 grand. We're still married.

Mine has to be the whole time I worked at Maggio's on O'Neal. I must have had 3 or 4 tables, during the course of my employment, leave b/c the owner, Don Maggio, felt the need to repeatedly yell, "do you know who the fk I am?"
Ive lost out on a lot of money due to those tirades.
