I dont think Brody was in on it... He wouldn't have pointed out his car being moved and he was calm as could be when he was getting ready beforehand, unlike last season when he was about to fall apart...
I cant wait until next season... On the run from Johnny Law, ain't no trip to Cleveland!

This is how I'm thinking. There's still a chance they Brody could have had something to do with it but it's just as likely was Saul. If it is Saul, then he is not working alone...he certainly has some help. But it might also explain how Saul was unable to pass the polygraph at first after someone slipped that prisoner a razor.

Think Saul being the new bad guy could make for an interesting season 3, Carrie figuring it out then maybe turning to Mr. I kill bad guys for help.

Saul is still my favorite character on the show. He is the only reason I watch it to be honest.
I have no attachment to bug eyes Carrie, Brody or his family.
Saul is the only character I'm interested in. Glad he's getting a better platform. He's like a Jewish Superman.

When is Season 3 supposed to begin? I assume the fall of 2013?

although i still love this show and cant wait til season 3, season 1 was so much better than season 2. the writing started to go down the drain the last few episodes, with so many damn plot holes, and basically making shite up as they go along.
Homeland is like bad pizza, even when its not great its still better than most things

Saul probably failed the polygraph initially because he was emotionally hijacked. He passed it later when he was calm.
The writers want you to think he could be the bad guy. Failed polygraph. Eileen dies. Saul is absent when the CIA bomb goes off. Estes didn't trust him. He lobbies to keep Brody alive.
However, there are reasonable explanations for all of those things.
They also have shown him to be the most thoughtful and morally-rigid person on the show. He's Carrie's surrogate father. He loves his wife but not enough to cut back his hours @ the CIA. I think his long game is groom Carrie even further, especially to help take the load off so he can regain his wife's confidence in him.

there is definitely someone else involved at the CIA (whoever moved Brody's Tahoe), and assuming they didnt a) die in the blast, b) get caught on tape, they will be pretty high up in the CIA now, since so many people just died.. that video with the writers said 450 agents and that Saul and Carrie would be at the top of the CIA now
but yea, its annoying that someone is able to just move a known terrorists car right up next to a building at the CIA without anyone noticing..

so.... i was wrong. I guess Brody wasn't in on it.
That brings up more questions. Who moved Brody's car? Whoever moved the SUV had to have some kind of clearance in order to leave it parked where it was unless that is just a plot hole.

And who gave the prisoner the razor?
There has to be a mole
Could be Saul but then that means he is not working alone.
Btw, Saul is now basically the head of the CIA

Well he might not have been informed on the specifics of the CIA attack, but he still could be "bad".

The mole... although the writers don't seem to concerned about revealing who it is anytime soon.

I'll be upset if it's Saul since he's my favorite character. I still think Brody was in on the attack in some capacity.
I also think the writers initially may have written a story where Chris is killed but decided that no one would give a frick so they just tossed it aside.
It would be crazy if they turned Chris into some vital character with tons of depth next season. From insecure puppy dog to terrorist killer, the Chris Brody story.

Does anyone think there wouldn't be cameras EVERYWHERE AT the CIA headquarters?

couldnt have said it better myself.
this show has been filled with plot holes, and up until the pacemaker incident, minor enough in detail to not bother me too much. however, everything involved with walden's death, just seemed really preposterous, and it just didnt sit right with me. the car bomb at cia headquarters just defies all believability.

Yeah I thought the same thing - Chris as Brody's accomplice would be a huge win.
Although his deep slumber in bed mouth agape with his mom while the rest of the family was restlessly awake (Mike smoking, Jess staring into nothingness, Dana closing blinds) tells me he still has a long way to go to being relevant.
