Or like some people call it, "the sugar." She's gonna have "the sugar" before too long.

I found this clip and it's hilarious:
Honey Boo Boo Nature Special

"It makes Jersey Shore sound like Downton Abbey"
Yeah, actually, it does.

The lemonade recipe..... That crap had to be so dense from all the sugar.... I wonder if a spoon could have stood up in that lemonade

Can one of you please make the sketti sauce and tell me what it tastes like?

How about you make it and report back?

So after reading this thread I decided to try it.
So instead of Sunday Brunch I had this hot mess, of candy spaghetti.
Ingredients...
Sugar
Butter (I used Country Crock plus imitation butter flavor)
Ketchup
leftover pasta heated in microwave
First we melt the butter
Then add sugar
melt it down and keep stirring
when it starts reducing and boiling steadily; reduce heat.
Then add ketchup
MMMMMMMmmmmm
Pour over pasta and serve
tastes just like sweet and sour sauce, minus the sour.
Tasted a little better with a ton of pepper flakes and some (a ton of) parmesan cheese, but was still really bad.
I give it a 2 out of 10 in the edibility rankings. Just above Limburger cheese, right below Durian ice cream.

think you may have put too much ketchup in there

I was trying to base it off of what she was doing. then reduce it. It is sweetened ketchup, it had the consistency of thick buffalo sauce, which is butter and hot sauce.
It was still really oily, any less ketchup and I think I would get even sicker than I am now.
It was really bad, that lady should go to jail for serving her kids this crap.

With her mom's psycho couponing habit, why doesn't she just buy jarred sauce when it's on sale? I can't even imagine what sugar sweet ketchup taste like over pasta.

Good job. The only thing you did wrong was you used Heinz. I'm willing to bet that they're a Hunt's family.

In all seriousness, I read The Godfather before I saw the movie. The book goes into a long detail of how to make real Italian Spaghetti Sauce. At the end of the recipe which is full of tomatoes, wine, spices and herbs the character says "And here is the secret ingredient. A cup of sugar."

I've never watched a minute of reality TV, it would be impossible to maintain even a sliver of humility if I did. What is described here are people I can always say "I'm so much better than them".
I tasted 'sketti sauce at a dinner in Birmingham that was made from Campbell's tomato soup and corn flake crumbs. I was the only one that didn't like it.
