It's going to be the first time in my life I won't at least be in Baton Rouge for a home LSU football game and it's going to be strange. The GF will be out of town so I'll be by myself as far as LSU fans that I know here. I know there is the watch party, but I work until 5:30 and I really want to watch the Bama game as well; plus don't feel like going to it by myself and having to stay sober so I can drive.
My plan is just to pick up some Abita and watch the game on my computer at my house, and watch the Bama game at the same time.

How many of y'all watch the games alone? Am I going to be freaking out being by myself? How do y'all handle it? Not gonna lie I'm kind of nervous about it...

I routinely watch games alone. I enjoy it most of the time because I always agree with my opinions.

I'm far too neurotic to watch an LSU game with other people. Though occasionally my wife will invite people over to watch me watch a game.

If you watch it alone, you can concentrate on posting in the game thread, and freaking out at every small miscue, like a large number of rantards do.

Dude stop being a pussy! I would love to watch a game alone that way nobody tries talking during the most important parts of the game.

it's a football game. Against North Texas. Just get drunk and watch it, it's not a big deal

I remember having to watch the 2003 NC game in South Carolina and when the Tigers would do something, I would clap and turn to give double high five and people would just look at me and stare with crikets in the background. It did suck not having others around to share in your joy that is LSU.

If you just have to be around LSU fans, go to Fox and Hound on Midway just south of 190 George Bush Turnpike.

One day, when you have a wife and kids, you will look back on this and wonder why you ever questioned the greatness of watching an LSU football game alone. That's what many of us dream of.

61" Sony HD + no Tigah fans in my neighborhood = lots of game watching alone.

Season opener last year: I was in Galveston in a condo, my only company was a bottle of Tito's vodka. all the kids, their friends, the wife and her friend were out and didn't come back 'til the game was over. It was fricking glorious!

You need to go to a sports bar and just call a taxi to take you and pick you up and it will be anon issue.

watching a game alone is sort of a bummer. Remember, joy is only real if it is shared.
