You are referring to comments he made on TV during the LSU-Tennessee game last year and you are leaving out that he said it is due to the pass rush. He doesn't just do it for the hell of it when no one is around him.

The fact is that J-Lee himself knows the back foot bailing even when the rush isn't even that close is an issue. He says his Dad harps on it with him ALL THE TIME. That is documented. It's not something folks are making up as an issue.

Yet even though he acknowledges it, he still can't get past it. That he manages to throw as accurately as he does despite it is pretty surprising.

Personally I don't think he can develop past where he is now with that issue, and it's tough to see him overcoming being as he's known it's a problem for as long as he has.

I hope he can get past it. I really do.

Unless they embarass LSU in some sort of way I always want our players to succeed. And JL has certainly not done anything that I know of to emarass LSU. I hope JL proves me wrong.

When it come to LSU...LSU is more important to me than being right in a discussion on an internet board.

Geaux JL.

This is probably the most significant post to show just how truly ignorant you are.

I don't know bout "ignorant", but he seems pretty bias with his personal measuring stick toward HC's.

On one hand he gives Nick a pass for 04 cause he thinks its too hard to play for a NC in back to back seasons and then on the other hand, he thinks LSU should be able to play for a NC in back to back seasons. Go figure.....

When LSU wins it is cause of the talent and when LSU takes a L, its cause of the coaching. Go figure...

LINK

QB -- In: (2) Philip Rivers and Charlie Whitehurst (free agent, Seahawks). Out: Jarrett Lee (undrafted, LSU). Analysis: Lee impressed with a game winning field-goal drive against the Vikings, but the Chargers will sneak him on to the practice squad to free up a roster spot as they have done with the third QB for the past two seasons

I think that's a victory for J-Lee and an opportunity. Good luck to him.

He is one injury away from being on the team...which is GREAT for him!

That is a hell of an accomplishment. To think he wasn't good enough to play at LSU and has been successful in each opportunity that he has been given with the Chargers.

I am a Bolts fan, so I'm glad to hear these guys are playing well for SD. Man, I miss tuna fishing out of Southern California, too. Good times.

why do people insist on bringing up JL's footwork? As if every other quarterback in the nfl has perfect footwork, release, and everything else or they stink.

Not to be contentious here, but as long as Lee is able to make the plays and complete the passes, how much difference does it make what he does with his feet? Isn't this like having a mechanical flaw that one devises a workaround to compensate for? Like a weak-armed outfielder who tries to position himself to be running forward when he makes the throw?

See this is one of the reasons I stopped arguing with you tards, reading comprehension skills. What I said, was nothing like that. I said Saban would not be able to contend for another title that soon because he is replacing experienced upperclassmen players with new inexperienced faces, clown. But in LSU's case that doesn't apply, last year's team should have won it all, they trounced everyone except Bama and still beat them in a tough game at their house. The national title game should have been a crowning jewel for such a great season instead it turned into an embarassment, end of story! Now, the reason why I say they should have repeated with this team is because obviously people think that this team may be even better than last year's!

furthermore, Saban proved my theory as I said by winning the title again this past season after being away for 1 season. That is why I don't expect him to do much this season because once again he has to replace experienced talented players with new ones. That is not the case for LSU who if anything has gotten even better this upcoming season. Got it? I frickin doubt it. My other reasons for not continuing this crap on is because this thread is about Jarrett Lee, not this shite. And my computer is acting up, I do not feel like workin hard like this to say what I wanna say.

More like you, a-hole. You have the worse comprehension out of them all. I won't even bother to respond to your stupidity. You have taken what I said, and gone with it in a completely, idiotic direction. Goodluck with that!

and so it starts, the making up of excuses to ease the pain and sorrow of another letdown year.

Not sure what you mean there. Tried posting on my cell phone this weekend and I think I was out riding my bike when the second one posted.

Hey man, they have done well......as has LSU. While Bama has won 2 titles, they have won only 1 SEC Title in 5 years with Saban. During that same period, Miles has won 2 SEC Titles. If Miles and company win the SEC again this year, it will be 3 straight regular season wins over Saban, and 3 SEC titles to Saban's 1, over the same period of time. While that doesn't impress you, I'm pretty impressed by that. Not comparing SEC to National, I'd rather NC...but it says a lot to win a SEC Title...and bama was VERY fortunate to get a chance to play for the NC this past year, given they could not beat miles and company at home.

Excellent post

Got it? I

Every college team each yr has to replace experienced players/starters. Thats just part of the college game.

The idea that NS, in his 5th yr, gets a pass from you for going 9-3, 3rd or 4th in the SEC, and #16 in the nation in 04 but LM gets called as not being successful enough after going 11-2, 1st the West, and 5th in the nation in 05, his 1st season, is still a retarded thought process no matter how much you want to change topics.
