Look, Choctaw, me and you will never agree about Miles, stop tryin to convert me. You are a diehard Miles supporter like these others on here, I am not. I think he is not a good coach, just average, that takes chances and wins because of the great talent LSU has every year. There is no way in hell he should have just 1 national title in 7 years there and winning that one was by a miracle.

He continues to recruit that great talent and that is a good thing for him. There is no way he should have lost to Alabam last season and a good coach would have made the neccessary adjustments at halftime to win. I'll be happy when he just decides to move on.

Manning and Lee's footwork are not even close to being the same. Manning always chopped his feet but would still step into the throw.

No shite Sherlock.

Still, Manning's "happy feet" was the source of criticism and conjecture. horseshite to be sure, but just evidence that fans don;t understand crap.

Lee was good enough to deliver some bigs wins for LSU and was mentally tough enough to stick it out in the face of withering criticism.

Since Williams couldn't block, the other teams knew, as did I, that he was going to carry the ball when he was in the game. His being in the NFL surprised me.

So you agree the comparison made no sense whatsoever.

some of these guys got hardly any or were used all wrong like Holiday

Tubucoco, when you said Holiday should get PT as a pass rush specialist and everyone else laughed at you, I was 100% behind it. He was miss used and still is misused. These coaches are a bunch of dummies.

Not really all that odd.

They are angry or appear so cause they stubbornly cling to the opinion they had of Miles in 08/09 even though we have gone 24-3, 15-2, and finished with NR'ings of #8 and #2 since those yrs.

For them to change their opinion they would have to admit they were wrong and that they can't do.

So, they would rather come across as college/SEC football retarded than to fess up to being wrong bout something they were soooooooo emotionally tied to...that being LM was/is a average/mediocre HC no matter his elite record of success.

Sure hope Jarrett is able to reach his dream!!

NFL/JJ= Not For Long.

CLM wins. But that doesn't mean you have to like him. (Jim Rome pause for effect) So what if you do or you don't?

You are correct.

I have to admit I was not impressed with the hire considering who had just jumped ship on us.

Of course, Miles going 11-2, West champs, 5th ranked, and routing Miami at the end of his 1st season helped me warm to the guy.

Then, after going 11-2, 3rd ranked, and routing ND in the Sugar I was bout to lose my water with happiness over the guy.

Hey, each to our own, but I'm thinking the guy has been overall fantastic for LSU.

All done off the tremendous talent LSU keeps as I have been sayin, nothing to do with his coaching, you or I could have had the cap on pacing the sidelines in his place and finished with the same record. Actually, you say 11-2 when it should have been 12-1, that monumental meltdown against Tennessee though should have been a warning sign to me of things to come, but I too thought that this guy was not a bad hire, I was wrong. He should have won the national title his first season, but I'm not gonna argue it because the tools on here will come out the woodwork with excuses as to why he should not have won. Katrina and all that stuff being there main excuse.

but, Saban had to be kickin himself in Miami knowing he walked away from another national title that year because he wouldn't have blown a huge lead like that against Tennessee, and probably would have destroyed Georgia again in the SECCG instead of it being the other way around!

100% Miles fault

100% players doing. Even "Miles' hat" could have gone 13-0.

What a fricking idiot this clown is. Seriously, judging solely by this thread you are one of the biggest morons on this board, which puts you in elite status worldwide.
