Most of these guys have no original thought of their own. One or two people state something about a player then the rest of the "herd" apes this opinion. Next thing you know an urban myth is born.

I will say it. Good thing we did not put him in during the Bama game because that situation would have really been way over his ability.

cause the way things were going we wouldnt have wanted to put in lee and have him do any worse, right?

And it was usually in the dirt in front of him or 8 yards behind, then he got the JJ poo face.
Hard to evaluate a WR without a QB

QB issues can't be denied, but when your number is hardly called the last 2 seasons, last season being really bad, where in the NC game he wasn't even used at all, it's not fair to critique someone about catching. But they do do that at LSU, KW was hardly used though the man was effective when called upon, he's in the NFL off his talent alone because if he had to get in based off his LSU resume, he would never be in.

No way to really argue that he hasn't been misused.
Feel bad for a guy who has been a loyal Tiger, had he gone to Oregon,he'd be a star.

you can pretty much say that about any LSU running back the last 8 years because they rotate heavily. It's not Miles' job to put players in the NFL.

This current crop is RB heavy, but not before where it was primarily Scott and KW with Scott getting the bulk of the carries before he went down from injury and Miles was forced to use KW and then he went down, also.

but Miles is responsible for how much a certain player gets playin time, and some of these guys got hardly any or were used all wrong like KW, Holiday and now Shepard. But they still make it in the NFL because of their great talent, I'm not sayin that Miles is supposed play them to get them in the NFL like you think I am . I'm sayin they make it to the NFL anyways despite Miles' limited use or misuse of their abilities.

yep, kid could do nothing wrong in HS, since being at LSU he's been unheard from. If he had gone somewhere else he would probably be their feature player.

It is a bit ironic you mention all of these atrocities or misuse of talented players and your examples are a few guys that are hanging around as depth or fighting to make a practice squad while not mentioning the guys that played a lot at LSU, were picked high, and are actually contributing or starting in the league.

well...that's like your opinion, man.

they get a SHOT in the NFL. there hasn't been one really good player in the NFL that wasn't also great at LSU.

name one player that was really good in the NFL that was "misused" at LSU. you talk like this has been some major issue the last 7 years.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the LSU coaching staff knows a little bit more about this subject than anyone posting on this board. Just because your favorite player doesn't get as much PT as you would like doesn't mean he's being "misused".

There are others, man, I am just using examples of recent players, no damn need for me to go back and dig up past players, to much damn work. I can give examples on both sides of the ball, defense and offense. But as for you sayin these guys were practice squad players You way off. Williams has made the teams he was on, and he is in their rotation, Holiday may be fighting for a job, but I think he has a great chance of doing so with his returns thus for.

that's because it has.

and these guys aren't my favorite players, as for LSU staff knowing what's best, that remains to be seen. Last year's NC game gave a great indication of them or Miles knowing what they are doing.

Williams was cut by his original team by the start of his second season.

If Holiday makes the team it will be as a returner only which means they won't be using him any more than he was at LSU and doesn't support your point one bit.

Name the others. If there are so many it should be easy.

Haters keep hating and Miles keeps winning. And that seems to just make some people even more angry. Odd really.

Holiday was used as the primary kick and punt returner and a wide receiver. Those are exactly the positions he's working to secure with the Texans.

KW played behind Hester, Charles Scott, and split time with Richard Murphy. He's 3-4th string in the NFL. He was well utilized while at LSU along with the rest of a stacked roster of RBs.

Maybe you should come up with some of those other examples. The ones you've giving aren't very convincing.

I understand it completely. You have a weak point, made a comment you can't defend, and you're looking for an out.
