This is why I don't like Lebron. He is, and always has been, more about himself than about the game of basketball.

MJ loved the game first. Kobe loves the game first. Lebron loves Lebron first. BLEE DAT FOOLS

FWIW I agree with your analysis about Lebron/Wade not showing emotion and it hurting the team. I also think that if Lebron were to run around the court yelling and screaming like Bosh/Garnett, he would get criticized for it. Lebron really cant do anything right in the eyes of people who dont like him.

The reason we bring up Kobe and MJ is because we are pointing out how unfairly Lebron is judged just because you don't like him. So he had a chance to hit a big three last night from the corner down the stretch. It was in and out. If he makes that shot and the Heat go on to win is he clutch? He hit a big three from the wing in game 4 but the Heat again lost. If they win would anyone be talking about that shot as being clutch? It seems to me that clutch is directly associated with winning in the Lebron haters' minds. Just don't tell me that guy isn't clutch. If you say that I feel like you didn't watch any of the playoffs last year and then you heard the media and all the casual NBA fans bashing him after the finals and saying that Wade is better than him so you jumped on the bandwagon. He was big shot after big shot during their entire run to the finals last year. And yes he didnt play well in the finals and that is inexcusable but don't base a guy's whole career on one series.

....such a pitiful excuse.

I am extremely ammused how the Heat role players have all the sudden dwindled talent level wise to what you and others are treating on the level of junior varsity basketball players.

Poor Chalmers, Haslem, Miller, and Battier are likely never to make a basketball team again.

Heat practices must be a clinic put on by Wade, LBJ, and Bosh against these scrubs. I bet they can never scrimmage. unless it's 3 on 5.

that's half his problem right there.

if I'm making 50+ million a year off my contract, sponsors, and appearances. Plus being born one of the most naturally gifted and talented basketball players ever, if not the most.

do you think I would give a single frick about what some fatass sportswriter in Miami thought about me?

It's his own fault. He is as narcissistic as they come.

"Poor Chalmers, Haslem, Miller, and Battier are likely never to make a basketball team again."

Well yes that is an exaggeration but Haslem, Miller, and Battier are all having the worst shooting seasons of their career. And even if Lebron does care about what people write about him, that's not why I brought that up. What I'm saying is that it's impossible to win an argument with someone who doesn't like Lebron because no matter how much evidence you bring to support you, they will just say things like he has no heart, and he has no rings, and he disappears in the 4th. When someone jumps so quickly to the "he doesn't have any rings" argument I immediately assume that they either don't watch many games and just listen to mainstream media, or they just don't really understand much about basketball.

George Gervin, Pete Maravich, Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, Allen Iverson, Stockton/Malone. . .

. . .Have no heart.

Why? No rings.

Shot percentage was way down.

Still. . .he is scoring points to close out games, as evidenced by the aforementioned stats.

Flies in the face of the "disappears in the 4th".

The correct expression is couldn't care less. When I see people say this expression wrong I assume that they don't know how to speak English well, and are therefore not very intelligent and therefore don't understand basketball very well. Or maybe you are saying you do care about my opinion of your opinion.

19 shot attempts in 31 minutes isn't remotely passive or anything else everyone is talking about.

It's like every other Lebron argument for the most part, the actual facts don't bare out what people are saying.

Now do this with Kobe last series, Durant this series, and Pierce and lets compare. The #s themselves mean nothing unless we can compare him w someone.

OK...I will play!

Game 1 - 6pts 0ast 1reb 0-1FG 6-6FT
Game 2 - 2pts 2ast 0reb 1-2FG
Game 3 - Blow out...Durant left with 6:22 to play
Game 4 - 14pt 1ast 0reb 5-6FG 4-4FT
Game 5 - 2Pts 0ast 1reb 0-1FG 2-2FT

24pts 3ast 2reb 6-10FG 13-14FT

My favorite criticism in basketball. Points in the last 5 minutes count for more than points in the first 43. Cool.

By the way, Kyrie Irving had the most points in the NBA in "clutch" situations.
