I THINK the symbolism with her hair was he told some story about when he was at war he kept dreaming of being next to her and touching her hair to his face when he was explaining why he might have nightmares...next scene she cut it. So he's pissed?

Prom I said the same thing to my wife, it will be an internal battle with the moves being made to make the transition of power but Jimmy ends up stopping it. I bet the old man dies and he flips on Eli

Definitly shows that she's still wanting to roll to Paris. Pretty disrespectful to Jimmy especially after he confided in her about his dreams.

Can we assume the black women was trying to poison the commodore by order of Nucky?

I don't think her reaction to Nucky letting her go warrants that. Plus, he said, "I can see why you were doing it."

I think that scene was setting up the struggle between the two in the future.

yeah i thought it had more to do with her making the statement that she still wants to go lesbo.

yea, her doing that is a big FU to Jimmy. Why she's being so bold in that is beyond me. He's a pretty good husband and back in that day could of knocked her on her arse for trying to leave him.

I don't get why the lesbian left with her husband and didnt stick to the original plan.

I want to know what was in the book that the maid gave to Nucky? I think she was giving him a big hint to "be careful" of the commodore. She knows that he wants Nucky out.

I hope Jimmy stays loyal. To me it would be pretty dumb writing for him to flip on the guy who watched after him his whole life for the man he hated his whole life in a matter of weeks, even if he is Jimmy's father. And he's pissed at Nucky for being a "pimp", but is that worse than the guy who fricked your 13 year old mother? I think not.

I agree with what was said already that Jimmy was prob just drunk and pissed at his girlfriend and that led to the fight with Nucky. I also agree that he stays loyal.

FBI agent's face when she said "you made me pregnant" I guess that was the sign from God he was looking for!

Pretty solid finale. Can't wait for next season.

I'm guessing one of the Philly brothers since it happened in that sequence. They killed the whole family, even the young boy.

I honestly think Jimmy got wind somehow and arranged for the impromptu leave.

That or the fall back of all women being completely insane.

If I remember correctly, last week didn't he at one point turn to her and say something about Paris, in French or something? "Pary" or some line like that.

Maybe he was onto his wife's plan and just said frick it let's go to Paris ourselves and rekindle their relationship. That's all I got, but I thought he said something to her in French about Paris last episode.

Or Jimmy knew and fricked up their plans.

Aaahh. Good point. The never really showed WHEN he did find the letter. Could it be possible he made it over there overnight and run them off which would explain the sudden disappearance? He already beat the husband down once and I'm sure intimidation could be a factor.

The note from Paris said "forgive me, but don't forget me." Wouldn't the show that the other dyke still cares for Jimmy's wife?

So many questions....

*Spoilers*

Thoughts/Questions

- I think y'all are right about Nucky and Jimmy. J is just drunk and pissed off, in the end he looks at Nucky like a father and won't betray him... At least I hope. I like the Nucky/Jimmy relationship and I don't want to see them turn.

- Eli is a fricking dead man.

- Chalky has evolved over the course of the series into my favorite character.

- I hate the Rothstein deal. I feel a bit let down by that one. I mean, they have done nothing but build up this intense rivalry that looked like it would inevitably lead to some major war and they just shake hands and forget about it?

The only thing I can see coming from that ending will be either Jimmy or Lucky L breaking the truce. Those two hate each other personally whereas Nucky and Rothstein are all about business and will let it go.

- How did Van Whatever cover up him murdering his partner? Did they address that and I just didn't catch it?

- Did a MAJOR character die throughout the the series? I thought that someone big would die in the finale... The Philly brothers were pretty gruesome but who cares about them?
