quote:Luke has much broader understanding of the force. If you know the extended universe, Mace Windu would never even get within melee range of Luke. Luke had various opportunities to destroy Cadeaus, but the Force was telling him it wasn't his obligation. Cadeaus just mis-interpreted Luke's disengagement as weakness.
however Windu is my vote - he single handedly had the emporer on the ropes - untill that whiny twat Hayden Christiansen cut his hands off.

I loved Sansa for telling him "maybe my brother will bring me your head"! frick you Joff!

Me neither. Does anyone have a guess to answer this question?
That or the fall back of all women being completely insane.

quote:All I know is that Jimmy doesn't seem to be one to be fricked with. Who else thinks he knew his chick was going to bail and "removed" her motivation to do so?
Or that could have stemmed from Jimmy wishing his own father was around to stay up late with him when he was a kid.
quote:Tolkien is a beating, no doubt. You have to enjoy detail and be able to admire his ability to build his world to enjoy it. That being said, I enjoy it.
I made it through about 10 pages and put it down. It reads like a text book.
quote:Always start your EU (Extended Universe) reading with the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn. Zahn is everything Lucas wants to be.
Also, I would prefer them to be decently intelligent reads. I'd like to avoid anything kid oriented.
Zahn builds Luke into the character he should have been as well.

quote:If you truly understand Luke's character in the books he sandbags a ton. In the same book Luke walks in to Jacen's quarters and completely pins him with the Force. Jacen even believes Luke has come to kill him. Don't forget that Jacen was defeated by his twin sister.
Oh and Jacen in Betrayal could smoke Luke FWIW. He could "flow walk" (ala travel through time) and force crush others' minds. If not for Ben stabbing him in the back, Jacen would have killed Luke in the new Legacy of the Force Series.
Flow walking isn't technically time travel. It is time viewing.

quote:No, Obi Wan doesn't broach the subject to keep the memory buried from Vader. Vader also doesn't sense Leia because she hasn't started Jedi training and is not "broadcasting" so to speak. Leia will later become a very powerful Knight.
Isnt this a plot hole since Obi Wan was there when both were born but all of a sudden he has no knowledge that Luke has a twin sister?
quote:Luke spent far more time in his X-wing with R2 than the movies portray. After a while of reading the translation on his display he just learned what R2 was saying. R2 also uses a "tone of voice" so to speak. So, even though you don't directly understand him; you are able to determine yes or no.
How the hell can people understand R2D2? I guess after a while you would get used to all those damn boops and beeps, but Luke and the others seem to know what he is saying.
quote:It was such a matter of fact tone, I love it. Dude is definitely one you want on your side.
That was awesome. Even Jimmy was like - shite, bro. Mr. Harrow is one of the most badass characters ever on TV. I love him.

I ordered Netflix once but canceled after seeing the shitty streaming options.

The fed is a great character, I never really hated him. My guess is he becomes Nucky's man later down the road.
I love Jimmy's character. He is such a paradigm. One scene will show the cold blooded killer, and the next will show him with emotion and love.
This is by far one of the best series I've ever invested myself in.

I liked how they pretty much suggested that the Operative was going to be like Sheppard Book. I wish we could have gotten more involved with Book's story.
