re: Xbox One + Surface Pro 3 = winning

Yeah, that is pretty neat. Been wanting a surface for a while. Wonder how pricy that other tech is. Playing Xbox while I take a dump would be pretty game changing

Mario Party 10 available for pre-order

SIAP, did a search and saw nothing.

MP10 available for pre-order on Amazon for $50. Releases March 20th. Was it always going to be just $50?

I'm close to re-creating my dream drunk/high gaming with friends collection on Wii U. Got Smash Bros., MK8, and now MP10...now I just need a re-mastered Goldeneye and NFL Blitz and I my social life will officially be dead. Just wish it wasn't so hard to get 3+ friends' schedules to work out enough to play. Being an adult sucks :wah:

True, forgot about him. Also the girl that was his wife in step brothers might've been funnier as Pam. Stonestreet might have been a good Kevin too

The Office audition tapes

I'm sure this has been posted in the past, but I've never seen it: LINK

Pretty bizarre seeing some of those people 12 years younger and before they were famous. I think most people would say they went the right direction with their casting. Only one I think might have been pretty good is Bob Odenkirk, but it still would've been a different interpretation of Michael...more of an arrogant douche (ala Saul Goodman), not the lovable idiot that Carrell gave us. And it's easy to say in hindsight, but Rain Wilson was the clear choice for Dwight

Would have loved to see some Creed auditions
It's not one of his best, but I still find myself quoting it sometimes

That RB Paleili (Spelling definitely off)? That was last years class, unless you're thinking of someone else.

But yeah, I was impressed with that too. There seemed to be a lot more loyalty among this year's recruits, which is one of the reasons I'm pumped. We've signed some high character guys the last two cycles

Sling TV is a good first step, but not enough channels yets.

I'm hoping (perhaps in vain) that one day there's a customizable package, where you pay like $20-30 per month and just pick out 15-20 channels that you want. I'd buy the f*ck out of that

That makes no sense. Has your taste in movies changed that dramatically from college?

What is there to hold up? A goofy comedy is a goofy comedy...it's not like an action flick that relied on now-obsolete technology

I love Ferrell and Stiller too

Well most of their movies are just as ridiculous as Zoolander

Agree, but you should also have at least a little insight into what the characters are like (George is the pathetic friend, Kramer is the zany neighbor, etc.)

A while back I was trying to introduce my gf to South Park and in one episode Mr. Garrison was normal, and in the next episode I showed her he was a lesbian. So I had to give her a quick background on SP characters so she would understand...not that Mr. Garrison's sexual orientation could be understood
Yep. I can't even handle it when the tiniest detail gets spoiled for me.

It's dumb but I also hate when my gf thinks its OK to just jump into the middle of a series without knowing anything about it. We were deciding on a movie a few weeks back and I suggested the 2nd Hobbit and she said sure. I asked if she saw the first one and she said no, but it didn't matter and that she'd just ask me what was going on. I was like "uhh, the frick you will, bitch... go watch that shite on your own time and report back." How could you possibly understand wtf was happening and enjoy a sequel?

And sometimes when we're watching a show on Netflix that ends on a cliffhanger she will go look up what happens in the next episode before we watch it (and sometimes spoils it for me too). Why even watch the show if you just look up the ending on the internet before?? shite drives me up a wall.

Ok, rant over.

THIS. Hearing your phone blow up 50 times in a row is like nails on a chalkboard. The best is when two people in the group start having a lengthy personal convo that they could just call/text each other for
Just finished it myself a few weeks ago. Great game, but it did start slow for me. I never could get 100% comfortable with some of the motion controls. They were a bit clunky and gave me trouble with some bosses when it came to aiming and stuff. But the story and dungeons were great

Did they try unplugging it and plugging it back in?
Damn, pompano beach producing top CBs like crazy
Don't need. I use the headphone jack...

But for real, I would barely be able to see whatever it is I'm wacking it to on the screen if I'm having to shake it up and down

re: How often do you use wii u

Posted by TheShwenz on 1/1/15 at 10:31 am
It's worth it. I have an xbone and wii u and play both frequently. Each has their purpose for me. Xbone is more for playing online and games like shooters and sports games. And I use the xbone for all the apps and media features. Love the wii u when I'm feeling throw back and wanna play Nintendo exclusives like Mario, zelda, etc.

My only problem is having waaay too many games that I want to play between the two of them and not enough time lol
I don't mind someone saving one or two seats, but it crosses a line at some point for sure. Some lady tonight was saving three seats for people that never showed up, or at least sat somewhere else. Watched her turn a ton of people away and the seats were empty the whole mass

re: Amazon Prime Instant Video

Posted by TheShwenz on 12/6/14 at 1:08 pm
It's on par with Netflix. What seals the deal is Amazon Prime comes with free 2-day shipping, a free music streaming service similar to Spotify (though not caught up yet), Amazon instant video, and free cloud storage for photos. All for $99 a year which is cheaper than a Netflix subscription. One of the best deals out there
