Darn tootin! I wanted to be done on Wednesday and I was willing to sell my soul to the devil to do it....

She didn't take me up on my offer so I had to try a cadfast with extra help.

Now I am at least 2 weeks maybe 3 from reaching the elusive 159. It was worth the attempt.

Any of you Atkins dudes incorporate hogs head cheese into your diet? I was looking over a package of the Rouse's brand and noticed it had 0 carbs. I know it's not for everyone but I've been enjoying it as a change up during induction

I haven't tried it personally, but the only thing I'd say watch out for is sodium. Oh and don't go crazy, I know that stuff is high in calories

Just a little sliver, not as a meal or anything.

Plyo is no joke. I do the p90x plyo workout 3 times a week. You might not be able to walk tomorrow

I definitely want to start integrating it into my weekly routine. I've been doing really nothing but lifting and light cardio.. I can see my athleticism shooting through the roof in 6 months with plyometrics. And plyo is great because I'm really heavy.. seems like it'd improve strength as well. None of the exercises felt particularly hard on my bad knees, either. I tried to do burpees but I'm too heavy still

Morning y'all! One down, nine more to go.

Myth, your senna tea references amuse me.

Anyone who wants to burn some fat is welcome to come help me do all this yardwork.

CAD, when is your next Pensacola race?

Hulk, keep at it! Sounds like you're doing good. I bet your mood is improving a lot too.

Good thread, i'll get in on it.

283/257/225

Started 2/27/12

Atkins induction no excercise first 2 weeks, very low carb and P90X plyo, kenpo, and cardio in rotation ever since.
I plan doing the full P90X workouts once I reach 250lbs.
Feeling damn good fellas, I know ya'll know the feeling

191/190/175-180

Gave a CADfast a try yesterday, mainly because I went to a crawfish boil last night an I knew I'd eat too much. Lost .5 and I'm swollen from the salt, so I'm hoping to drop the water weight by tomorrow. I've pretty much settled on the paleo diet. It seems to fall right in line with what I want to do- cut back on carbs, but not full fledged Atkins. So far i haven't missed anything, but I'm sure my a challenge will come tomorrow at the wine festival. If I can drop another lb before tomorrow and end up back at 191 coming out of the weekend, I'll feel pretty good.

Seems like the scale isn't budging much lately but thats OK. My weight loss seems to come in spurts. I feel great and slimmer than what the scale is showing. My workouts lately have been awesome and motivation is great. Now if I can just manage going to the Spring game without too many sodium bombs I'll have it made. I know the boys will want to get Best Stop boudin and cracklins for breakfast on the way in. Then a virtual land mine of cheats to navigate through at the stadium oh well

I've hit the "wall", I suppose. Can't seem to break through the 240 barrier.

I dropped 20lbs in a month like it wasn't a big deal... and then bang. Nothing. Frustrating, but I'm not going to stay discouraged. Weight don't lose itself.

I've hit a few myself where the scale doesn't budge, sometimes for 2-3 wks at a time, then BAM I lose 2-4 lbs. I've found the 24 hr fasts help,I've been doing one a week for about 2 mos. Increasing your workout/activity and really scrutinizing your diet is really the only way. Your getting close to your goal and it seems that last bit of weight can be the toughest. Hang in there!

40 days in to my new life style change I have reached my first milestone of losing 30lbs. I'm feeling great and my motivation is at an all time high.

My wife said this morning "Well it looks like losing the weight is paying off" I said why do you say that? Her response back to me was “well it didn't look like someone was strangling you when you were tying your shoes! “

looking for a good scale for daily weigh ins, any suggestions?

I'm using one of these at work so I can't weigh myself without my clothes on. I thought about buying one for my house, but I'm trying to only weigh myself once a week.

Pigged out last night. No gain but no loss either.
