It's pretty good. I'm 5'10" and I feel like I might even want to take it down another 5-10 lbs. I had been hovering around 175-180 for the longest time even though I do run. I think the running was making me eat however I wanted and justifying it. However, a small health issue has kept me from running the past two weeks. That two weeks really made me aware of what I was eating and I think that got me down a few. Either way, who woulda though that even 170 still feels like you could lose a few more?

So, I've kind of balanced back into what I think is a normal weight. I lost a ton when I was throwing up and had diarrhea last week. Then, I was loading up on basic foods high in carbs trying to get something to stay down. So, I went down to 183 then up to 190. It was the first time I've gained weight since January. I was at 218/186.3/175 prior to my illness. Now I'm at 218/188.0/175. So, i'm not too upset with that considering the complete change of diet and lack of exercise due to feeling like crap. Time to get back into the swing of things.

Have a good week fellas.

generally how long does a sodium/water weight gain last?

friday after my workout i was 204.5, after like 5 beers, 4 tacos, some candy and 2 plates of spaghetti and meatballs i was 215.

WTF.

today i'm back down to 212 after my first workout but that's still shitty and too high. still no way i gained 8 lbs of fat in 3 days.

If you were 215 friday and today are 212, you will have dropped most of it by today or tomorrow more than likely. Everyone's body is different, though.

I was 204.5 Friday evening

I was 215 when I weighed myself last night.

I was 212 after my first workout today. Going back to the gym now.

I defer to LE on this question.

Are you weighing with the same scale, same time of day and the manner of dress?

Nice chart hulk. I just started paleo last week and while the diet isn't too hard to follow, it's nice to have it spelled out for you in a pictographic chart like that.

I can't stop eating the free fruit at work.

Oh, for those playing along....

12! The number 12!

Yup! I am up 12 pounds from last Monday. The train can leave the rails really fast if you don't pay attention.

I had a great Sunday and dropped zilch today. Calories were about 1350 yesterday and 1550 today but I can't stop eating the damn office fruit.

I'm a tad sick of eating the same thing for 2 years.

I think I am going to take a one week Atkins break and eat some beans and rice.

It will be interesting to see if I can drop any weight eating 1500 calories a day but eating carbs.

Ha! I hope you know that rate of loss was not going to continue forever.

Plateaus happen. Just keep doing the right things and it will break at some point.
