Worth it?

I HATE reheating fried food in the microwave, and I hate it cold too.
Any techniques to reheat food and it still be crispy and yum?

I read a way online:
Put about 1/2 inch oil in baking pan, put fried goods on/it in, bake.

Any other techniques you have?

I wouldn't bother, but I am interested in hearing other's opinions. The method you describe sounds like an oily mess.

I hate leftovers anyway.

Sounds horrible

try putting it under the broiler for a few minutes, Toaster ovens work well for this

I always put it on a piece of foil, and bake it in the oven for a few minutes. You'll never get it back to original, but you can get it much better than the microwave will do.

a few minutes in the toaster oven is fine for us. refrying or baking in oil doesn't sound that great and microwving fried food never works.

As others have said, put it in the oven with no oil.

Put it on a raised rack...I use my convection oven for this and comes out crunchy.

We keep a flat black iron skillet in the over at all times. Use it to reheat fried food, cook biscuits, etc.

Toaster oven if you have one, or just bake it for a little while. No oil.

Without a doubt my favorite way to reheat fried foods. Brings back the flavor instantly!

ME TOO! Depending on what I've fried and would like to reheat, I even poach it in a mixture of safflower oil and White Zin. I find this approach works best when reheating previously fried PRIME ribeyes. You should try, you will like!

A convection oven is best.

Oven on a low temp is okay. I put it on a rack with foil on the lower rack in case excess oil drips.

I love cold fried fish and fried chicken, so I rarely reheat those. In fact I rarely reheat fried foods, BUT if I order fried fish and it's not crispy enough for my taste or go mushy in the carton on the way home, I do a quick refry for about a minute. Works fine and it's not greasy. I always have clean oil available in my fryer, so it's just a matter of plugging it in and dropping in the fish.Much better result than in the regular oven. My Dad does the same thing.

I wouldn't even eat fried food reheated in a microwave. It's just not worth it.
