My favorite pie has to be Buttermilk, Pecan, and Peach Pie.

i guess:
1. pumpkin
2. sweet potatoe
3. pecan
but not really a huge pie person. No recipes, my granny always make them.
Cake: Homemade Carrot Cake with cream cheese icing is far and away my favorite cake or pie.

2) crawfish pie
3) Natchitoches meat pie
4) tuna pot pie
5) chocolate icebox pie
(I like savory more than sweet.)

+1000; this is by far my favorite as well. my grandmother (RIP) made the best carrot cake; been 11 long years since i've tasted her carrot cake.

oh, but i do really like homemade lemon icebox pie....kind of hard to find now days.

I agree 100%...even the grany part!
