That's bonkers
NFL draft is super boring to me.
As much hate as the NFL gets, their popularity seems to have no bounds.

There was a bit of a mass exodus after the Steelers picked, especially from the rear of the crowd. I'm surprised they put that on TV last night.

It’s a reason for people to get out and party and be social. Might not appeal to me, but it looked like people were having fun.

I would be miserable if I was in that crowd. I would be scared if I had to take a shite if I was in the middle of that lol.

Isn't it weird how not "fan" under the Pavillion left after their team's pick?

Amazing, isn't it.

Probably paid a lot of money for seats at the front.

Same reason fans with good seats stay in Tiger Sta- oh wait.

The NFL Draft experience is horrible.

Terrible product to watch and even dumber that these people go stand and watch a name be put on a board.

Dumb

Credit to Pittsburgh, looked good on TV

I have no idea why people treat the Draft like a major event, but whatever

We were at it in Green Bay and had a blast.

I would encourage people who think it does or will suck to not go.

I was at the one in Nashville when I lived there. It was fun for about an hour, mainly because of it's location on Broadway, but got old quick. It was a loser convention if I've ever seen one. Can't imagine how much worse it would be in a parking lot.

Do they send the NFL Experience with the Draft like they do with the Super Bowl?

There has to be more to it than just waiting to hear names called.

Because they have the shortest season of the major sports, so the NFL has to hype up every event they can outside of the actual games. Same reason OTA's and mini camps get pushed in the media.

They have to keep eyeballs on the brand or risk losing the average fan's attention. Plus, im sure the draft generates some revenue for the NFL. They have stretched it out as long as possible now too. All to maximize their revenue.

From what I understand it’s like a free fair, but with football. They have a bunch of vendors and kids experiences in the stadium. Lots of pop up beer gardens, live music, games, etc.

I get why someone would go to check it out for the whole event.

Same people in this thread who say they’d never go probably pay $30 a ticket to go to their shitty county fair to go pet llamas and get stuck on the whirly twirl.

I don't really have any interest in ever going. I didn't watch last night because the Bengals didn't have a pick anymore since we got Dexter Lawrence, and I'm not watching tonight because the Reds are playing the Tigers.

If the Bengals had an early pick, like Top 5, then maybe I could see going if it were also in Cincinnati or Nashville.....mayyyybeeeee.....but still, no, not really.
