How in the actual F*** did the RNC allow “restore fairness” in the VA referendum?

I can’t get my head around how this was allowed to be the phrasing for this.
fricking idiots.

Everyone knew exactly what was going on. Virginia will re-draw to counter the Republican gerrymandering in Texas, North Carolina, Ohio, and Missouri.

The wording makes it sounds like the districts will change every time a different party’s gets control in the state .

You didn’t answer the question.
That phrasing is deceptive and you know it. You progressives are just awful.

Those districts are never going back. Democrats are never going to willingly give up that power. This is what you get with decades of Yankees colonizing NoVA.

Nothing deceptive about it. Republicans have engaged in unfair political gerrymandering to try to create an outcome in the midterm elections. Democrat controlled states are responding to keep the elections fair.
You don't like it because you want your tribe to abuse the gerrymandering while preventing the other tribe from countering. Boo farking hoo.

Interesting question. I have never registered as a Democrat. The last time I had a registered party affiliation was when I was a youth delegate to the Republican National Convention in New Orleans.

Because most republicans in office and RNC leadership are democrats.

They just fixed it so that won’t happen

Here’s your issue. Unless we fix the integrity of our elections, we don’t have a Constitutional Republic.

When Kentucky voted on abortion a couple of years ago, it was worded so badly that people thought they were voting against it and actually voted for it. It was phrased in a way that you needed to vote “Yes” if you’re against abortion…

The system started unfair. The democrats have long gerrymandered their states.
Republicans who follow the rules are kinda catching on to what democrats have done for years.
The problem with democrats is they already have done this to the vast majority of Democrat states. Amas because of the interpretation the Supreme Court forced it on republican states.
Republican states simply try to match what democrats have been doing and you are calling it unfair. It is the opposite. It is leveling the playing field.
If you simply say both parties gerrymandering their states equally counter each other, one could say fine. But Republicans don't like to cheat as much as democrats do. So democratic states will always go to extreme lengths to do this.
If we say both are doing the same thing so they cancel our, the wording of this bill is ridiculous.
It basically calls letting the democrats cheat under the guise of saying that is fair. I find that rather despicable and that language was meant to intentionally confuse people who as we know are easily confused.

Who is the “we”? Republicans won’t do a thing and Trump can’t on his own so who exactly are you referring to? There will never be another Trump and demographics will change America forever. Based off of this board which is far more conservative than the average American voter, it doesn’t seem like many people care

This opens the door in 2028 for the ballot to read
"Vote Vance/Rubio to restore fairness to the country after 12 years of Obama/Biden."
