Cruz and Lee are too invaluable in the Senate. An out of office, and thoroughly vetted DeSantis makes more sense age wise and potential legal viewpoint wise.

I don't want him to be President, but I would've taken him in a heartbeat to be Governor of Louisiana. And, I'd be fine with him on the Supreme Court.
