I'm all for holding congress, but if we're touting mayoral races as a barometer, we may have issues.

They got anymore of them shortstops?

You know it's not important when social media pundits toss out something like "The left is melting down!"
The social media pundit hype machine is as exhausting as violent assholes with little/no self-control.

Midterms will be about a 50/50 split. Both parties will overperform in some areas and both with underperform in some areas. I think the GOP will do exceptionally well with Hispanics in the midterms.

Eric post it I assume some lie is in there. Funny though, you dismiss the other bad omens but one pops up that is better you leap on it... Kinds seems a little bias.

We posting about local elections in random 100k population cities now?
Mayor's races don't really follow national election trends. Local issues are often insulated from national politics.

That's exactly what you do in the opposite direction. No self-awareness.

Not quite the same... The trends have all been blinking red toward negative outcome coming. SO, I comment after multiple negative forecast (which are everywhere).
But in the end it does not matter. Is it true or not? Is the headwinds we are heading into really tough ? I say the overwhelming evidence says yes. But then you have this one tiny result... Does it change the narrative? No, especially after dingus went to war with Iran and hurt everyone in his own country.

I wouldn’t make much of this.
Rio Rancho was just the safer place to live away from ABQ and more conservatives have moved there.
New Mexico is a lost state and rates low to lowest in many data points.
Very high crime and ABQ is a hell hole. You drive through that town and it has a dystopian feel to it.
Santa Fe population is basically those who would attend a no kings rally.
Dems control the state
The state GOP party is feckless and I wouldn’t put it past them they are paid off to be that way.
No GOP in DC representing the state. They rigged the map in 21.

Didn't the libtards claim a massive victory when one of theirs took the Mayor's chair in Miami?

Probably a different Republican. Not MAGA.

My bad, I did not know it was a puny mayoral race... Oh my, this is even more pathetic than I thought.

These are probably more important to the average citizen, though. Cities are becoming shitholes due to results of local elections. This signifies potentially a large change in that. It is no small thing.

Tit for Tat. The marxist will even tout a councilman race as a barometer. We need to make sure everyone is aware of the forthcoming slaughter of the liberal party.

That is kind of how life works man. Some people choose to be a glass half full type and and focus on the positives.
