Masters, and Wimbledon get a boost for it being an individual sport, and souly having to rely on yourself, and having no teammates to bail you out. More recognition individually, for an individual sport, as opposed to a team sport, unless you’re a QB, etc.

The Masters is the greatest individual achievement

The Super Bowl is the biggest team achievement

Masters and Wimbledon should be top-2, because they’re individual. If you’re a QB, make Super Bowl #3, and if you’re a superstar in basketball make NBA #4, but otherwise you can place the team sports in any order you wish.

I appreciate that the Masters and Wimbledon are individual sports, but there are three other majors in golf and tennis. Four chances to win. The Masters and Wimbledon just have great marketing teams. There is only one chance a year to win the others. I would put the Ryder Cup above the NBA Finals.

As a fan, Super Bowl.

As a player, Stanley Cup.

One caveat, I would choose something else if I had to look like Fury last night. He was jiggling more than a bowl of Jell-O during the Valdivia earthquake.

Of the OPs list I would pick NBA championship because playing the game was always the most fun for me, and winning as part of a team always meant more to me than individual sports.

My actual top two would be:

1. Tour de France

2. F1 WDC/WCC in the same year, being the best in history at something that most adults practice the very basic skill every day of their life would bring incredible satisfaction, and being part of the winning constructor would be amazing... as long as it wasn't McLaren because frick McLaren

If you deducted all the money and fame, my choice would probably change to winning the Barkley Marathons. Possibly the greatest sporting test of human mental and physical endurance and something 99.99% of the population has no idea even exists.

Masters easily #1 over those team sports.

Walking down the 18 fairway knowing you’re about to win The Masters has to be the best feeling in the world.

Oh and you also get $5 million on top of it

ANY championship that you win on your own is more gratifying than a team title in my opinion.

A team sports win is gratifying it its own way.

However, something like the Masters just has to feel like you're the lord of all creation for a brief moment. Being a UFC champion or a F1/NASCAR/Indy 500 champion has to be similar.
