I'm on the fence on this.

I agree with the overall sentiment that they should be above this.

But I also agree with the public shaming of stupid people.

These days, police and sheriff’s departments are in a fight to see whose social media team is coolest.

If it is, I cry foul. It would be the equivalent of posting in ebonics in relation to a house that was occupied by HBCU students. Is it a crime? No, but it is in poor taste.
