Excellent in the field, but really struggling at the plate this season...

He seems to do better when he is further down the lineup.

He struggled at the plate last season too. Especially April/May.

What does this even mean?

He's the best defensive short stop in the country and one of, if not the best in school history.

He’s always been clutch and a gold glover, but around .250 seems to be who he is

I can only imagine the infield duo of Milam and Cole Freeman at second. It would be like having two Roombas up the middle

it means that he's a good player that people think is supposed to be a superstar. whether he actually should be is a matter of opinion.

Again for the 3rd time. Yorke and Milam will be batting 250 or lower by end of the season

The best defensive short stop in America who also has shown to be the most clutch performer on the team throughout his time here?

Uh yeah, star player.

Dumb comparison.

Easy there big fella … you’ve got some all stars in that group.

Is he good? Yes. Is he that good? No. He just looks like the greatest ever compared to the rest of the infield.

He didn't commit an error until 35 games into the season, and you could argue the ball still should have been caught.

Milam is head and shoulders better than any of the SS in the last 10 years. His worst fielding season is better than Bregman's best. As a freshman and sophomore, he was on par with senior year Austin Nola. At a minimum, he is the best defensive short stop this century.

I know it’s disappointing, but SS is one of the few positions on the field where you’ll trade hitting for solid defense.

He likes to whiff on low and inside throws, especially when lined up as left handed batter.

Milam is a very good hitter.

He needs to stop trying to hit home runs (again) and start going opposit field again. That’s when he’s at his best.
