re: How many years to rebuild?

honestly think only one. Won’t take much for the TAF and donors to really give JJ the cash he wants and honestly we didn’t miss on everyone we think “sucks” right now. Some of these kids just need reps to get better and they’ll start to shine.

i’m surprised it wasn’t on another hanging slider

re: What's up with Milam?

I can only imagine the infield duo of Milam and Cole Freeman at second. It would be like having two Roombas up the middle

As long as guidry keeps the slider down he’s effective. Bottom 3rd of the zone it really gets some bite. Middle middle makes us hold our breath.

You didn’t see him get tossed in the 9th?
looks like we’re trying pretty hard now
The good ole reverse psychology baby
he’s not, but maybe it’ll be 4-5!
Just really feel he rushes himself big time. Need that changeup coming out to play.
Have been to the factory 3 times. Despite the smell of manure surrounding the area…it is a mecca of dairy. Their fried cheese curds are the stuff that drives champions.

re: You can say no

we will be EXTREMELY tough to beat if MiKayla and Flaujae can shoot the rock like they do today
sub .250 on a guy hitting in the top 3-4 spots every game sans this one without an influx of homers just ain’t fun right now. You’d hope and pray DC and Jake can be protected once they get on base and the Monster just ain’t doing it right now. It sucks to watch this much talent not gel quickly and flounder around at the bottom of the barrel.

re: This one is on JJ

can you use context clues? he means he won 2023 and 2025…so in the last THREE years he’s gotten us two championships. It doesn’t matter about 2022 he’s just saying we’ve won 2 of the last 3 brother.
19 hits over 3 games is wild. I really need Milam to not be hitting .242 on the year. We need him in more than just the infield.

i’d take my chances with Yamin at this point no doubt

re: Is today Evans’ last audition?

that changeup was so so so nasty tonight, glad he and Yeskie decided to let it loose tonight. Looked like a true ++ pitch

re: I enjoyed our last two losses

honestly i still might have, it’s different with football and such with a finite 12-13 games and one or two losses kill you.

For baseballs sake we are getting EVERYONES, especially in states, best shot. I’d rather get it through the skulls of young men early that we are not invincible and that both teams get 27 outs to win a game. I don’t mind 3 losses to shite teams during an early March cold streak over a 56 game season. Do i want to be 14-0? Absolutely, but if we’re having issues i’d rather identify, fix, and move on right now than Mid/late May!

I enjoyed our last two losses

This team needed to get punched in the mouth early and realize that we can’t just walk into anyone’s stadium and beat them just because we’re LSU. The reality check, the ego checks, the realization that baseball isn’t just won by how good you are but how good you play…this team obviously needed this kick in the behind wake up call. Hopefully they respond in kind. Our collective sanities hinge upon it.

I think this staff has potential FOR SURE. And my post really wasn’t bashing them, just trying to figure out which guys we think are going to step up. Paz has had two week showings during mid week games and definitely needs to find his touch to find the strike zone, after such a high highschool recruit out of Texas, you always look for a little more. But like Schmidt last year, sometimes things don’t come together so quick and easy.

Yeah listen it was a shite game for Jon. Crazy to think he was gonna be our starter at 3rd before Carraway transferred. Obviously the ball comes off the bat different on the opposite corner but those plays have to be made. All 13 runs don’t land at his feet but damn if it didn’t feel like that after the 3rd inning being down 8-0.
