Both sides are way underwater. The issue for Democrats is that the far left hate their leadership more than the far right hates Republican leadership.

The Democrat Establishment is worthless. It does no good to cater to those pretending to be centrists. We need a leftist, progressive party, not a complicit pretend opposition party.

Well its shockingly more difficult to win when you can't cheat as easily
Posted on 4/6/26 at 11:01 am to hawgfaninc
And not a single meaningful arrest has been made yet. Wait until all that happens and watch the numbers.. going to sky rocket to the moon

The GOP doesn’t need to cheat when Democrats aren’t actually trying to win. Party leadership has zero to no conviction. The establishment hates AOC and her ilk, not because they’re progressive leftists, but because they aren’t bought and paid for to the degree party leadership is.

As long as all states are gerrymandered to the hilt, there will never be another "bloodbath" in the House. But you can bet that if the election were held today, Dems would take the House.

You can bet that...you might not want to look at the odds on polymarket
But we're still a long way out from the mid terms. If the conflict in Iran comes to a quick closure things start looking better for republicans. That seems to be the lynchpin. If it drags out for months and causes real economic pain, the dems definitely take the house.

You all need to get together and decide if this dude and his polls are legit or not, because I've seen the full spectrum from joy and elation to the same people declaring this guy a hack and his polls worthless. It is impossible to keep up.

I’m not claiming the below comments from ChatGPT are true. I don’t believe everything I read.
And I don’t really care enough to dig further.
What I am pretty damn sure is, random posts on social media are many times full of shite.
Take it FWIW;
“I tracked down what’s going on with that post, and it’s a classic case of a misleading social media claim built around a misinterpreted clip.
What your link is actually based on
The post from Eric Daugherty appears to reference a CNN segment featuring data analyst Harry Enten.
There was a real discussion on CNN about polling shifts—but the key point:
The “+5” figure being circulated online is not a “Republicans +5 net favorability” number.
It’s referring to a change (or shift) in party popularity relative to a previous point in time, not an absolute lead over Democrats.
Some viral posts even phrase it as “Republican approval up 5 points,” which is very different from:
“Republicans are +5 more favorable than Democrats”
Those are not the same statistic.
Evidence of distortion
Versions of this claim circulating on social media say things like:
“Republican approval skyrockets… up 5 points”
That wording reflects a trend change, not a comparison between parties.
What CNN typically reports in these segments
When CNN discusses polling:
They often show net favorability (favorable - unfavorable) for each party
And/or change over time (e.g., “up 5 points since last month”)
A clip showing Republicans improving by +5 points does NOT mean:
Republicans are +5 vs Democrats
Or that they lead overall
Bottom line
The X post is misleading.
The “+5” number is very likely a change over time, not a party-vs-party advantage.
There is no credible CNN report showing Republicans holding a +5 net favorability lead over Democrats ahead of the 2026 midterms.
If you want, paste the exact quote or I can break down the clip frame-by-frame—these polling graphics are easy to misread and often get spun online.”

ChatGPT
First GPT is the most liberally oriented AI out there
Second, ChatGPT lied. The analysts CLEARLY said at this point in previous elections the DIMs were +12 and +18, but the 'Pubs are currently +5. He was in no way, shape, or form comparing D or R favorability vs a previous D or R point in time. He specifically referenced where the polls stood going into midterms
quote:
Study finds that ChatGPT, one of the world’s most popular conversational AI systems, tends to lean toward left-wing political views. The system not only produces more left-leaning text and images but also often refuses to generate content that presents conservative perspectives.

Not believing this for a second. The same media that pushed Hillary ahead and Kamala ahead in polls, now pushing Republicans leads, is trying to make people head to the polls to vote. Come November, their narrative will change to suit the cheat since the save act wasn’t passed.

I was with some MSNBC watcher family over the Easter holiday weekend and had to endure the TV being turned to that shite to channel for a little while during my time there. The MSNBC crowd is 110% sure they are winning the mid-terms and at least taking back the House. They were talking about it like it's a done deal, sure thing.

Oh shite. The congressional republicans will be scrambling now to redouble their efforts to lose the elections.
It will be an epic battle between democratic retardation and republican fecklessness.
May the biggest losers win!
