What would it take for Tiger to turn true heel?

as a lifelong fan, the man has gotten away with his fair share of mistakes (and then some). but it never hurts his public image in the long run.

What? He has killed his brand.

Gotten away with? Sort of but he has obviously harmed his reputation
He's also starting to resemble Jim Irsay.

He’s become a pretty nice dude in public at least. I’ve seen him pretty regularly at kids sporting events here in northern palm beach county as there is some overlap with our kids and the schools/competitions they attend. He’s always shooting the shite and seemingly really gracious to randoms just introducing themselves for as big a household name as he is.
DJ is also cool as shite in real life. My daughter and his son were in the same class for 3-4 years when little. Didn’t see Paulina ever attend anything in that entire timeframe.

I don’t think this DUI is even a blip to the reputation. Call it par for the course
Logically his reputation should be in shambles, but if he’s ever in contention in Sunday red again, his personal gallery will never not dwarf everyone else’s

First time I've heard having a Cabal of IHOP waitresses on sex speed dial behind your family's back...as a "vice".

I mean, people have been making fun of him for being a pill head for literally years already?

Just like any other Chad who had a Tinder account… but on steroids

Not many others can do the roids, DUIs (suspicious crashes) and cheating like he has.

I think what you see from Tiger now is a symptom of everything that came before.
He never had a normal childhood, in fact, he had a really ABNORMAL childhood. I think people do not talk enough about the craziness of a his upbringing as the son of a green beret. By the time he was in his teens he was a phenom and early 20s he was a worldwide phenom on the pro tour.
Nothing about Tiger's life has been stable or normal. He will never be stable or normal because he has never known it.

Every decent American has so far wanted for him to get back on his feet but he has let everyone down time and again and now, that support is going away.
Let's face it, Tiger is just a bum.

He’s not the first rich dude to sleep around. He and his ex-wife and kids, the people who should actually have feelings about that, seem to be close with him still so maybe other people don’t care anymore either.

I imagine it's hard to deal with being a famous parent in situations like this.
My only experience with it is a non-famous volleyball dad who watched Peyton Manning do the exact opposite. He would come to his daughter's games in the Denver area wearing noise cancelling headphones and interact with exactly 0 people.
No hate, but I always thought it was a little odd.

Since most LSU fans drink and drive on the regular, I would assume recent events make him much more relatable on this board.

Maybe he has always been a piece of shite, but he could hit a golf ball so you over looked that.
Posted on 3/28/26 at 3:41 pm to JamalMurry27
I've never watched him play golf but he's clearly an addict. Needs help.
