I just don't get how people can't stay at home and get plastered or at least have a driver.

Even if you're a regular joe, how do you not call an uber?

How difficult is this for people?

If you had one drop of alcohol or any other kind of intoxicant, you do not drive. So simple.

Know what else is simple? Reading.

Know how I know you didn't read? Because every article says his BAC was 0.00.

He refused testing. It's a fact he was drinking or doing some kind of intoxicating drug (prescription or otherwise -- it doesn't matter).

He should do some jail time but we know he won't.

Problem is, being under the influence of any intoxicant diminishes your capacity for good decision making.

Exactly. Should go without saying, if you have consumed any kind of intoxicant, you do not drive.

Well, your decision making isn't exactly pristine when you're hammered drunk, high, or under the influence of drugs.

I nailed an absolute pig about 15 years ago thanks to alcohol.

He took a breathalyzer test and blew a zero. He refused a urine test.
No doubt he was impaired by drugs.

I mean there is that. But at least it wouldn't have caused you to put lives in danger over it.

You mean like passing a car in a residential area, clipping the front of the car and then flipping your Range Rover? I bet a $40 Uber ride would have saved him a whole lot of time in the gray bar hotel. But since no one was injured maybe this is the best thing. Gets him in rehab and off the streets.

This is most likely another win for the medical community.

Seems like we’re always being reminded that he’s black, but sometimes he has to remind us. He’s Asian too.

It was a 2 lane road with double yellow lines and a 30mph limit and he attempted to pass a pickup with a trailer and clipped the back of it with enough velocity to flip a range rover.

You think?

He owned one of the largest distilleries in the country at Mount Vernon and reportedly regularly served rivers of alcohol to guests.

I guess the horses were doing the driving back then, though.

With his medical history he will 100% have a script for painkillers. That's gonna stay in your system a week at least maybe more depending on the drug and intake. The legal question is a piss test isn't going to confirm he was high on painkillers at that instant. He did the right thing by refusing testing.
