Republicans
Spend a lot of debt
Go to war
Lie a lot
Totally corrupt

Democrats
Spend a lot of debt
Go to war
Lie a lot
Totally corrupt
Like perverts and want them to influence kids
Want to take jobs from white men

I think the last two on the dem section can probably be copy pasted to the republican ledger...GOP just professes that they do not want to do those things while doing it anyway.

I wonder why the deficits never returned to pre-Covid levels, including last year.

Nobody is ever singled out for spending money, so why would anybody in office ever worry about it? Just don't be in office when the Jack in the Box jumps out.

I wonder what happened in 1970?

Hmm, can’t think of anything significant from a policy standpoint.

Nothing at all.

If you look at any chart on debt, spending, income disparity, cost of living, real estate prices, etc they all explode after 1971.

I guess the question is, would you want to outright pay taxes or would you rather finance it, constantly refinancing? We say we want to cut spending. But as Tom Delay once asked when going back to his Republican Caucus 20 or more years ago, " OK, I have ideas, you shoot them down, so, you come up with some."

Remember when Ron Paul ran for President

That Giga Chad listed on his campaign website all the federal government departments he was going to close if elected.

I’m not sure if it even matters. I think if “they” wanted to, “they” could just create a $35trillion dollar bill. That’s basically what would happen, it’s all griff at this point

That would be the end of America, because the currency would immediately become worthless

Debt will never be fixed without massive cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, social security, and all welfare programs (normal, corporate, tax breaks, subsidies, etc) are massively cut back or killed outright.

Doing so is political suicide.

Therefore, debt will never be fixed.

Both parties are addicted to spending.

There are differences on which special interests get the most attention and funding…depending on which party holds the most power…..but all of them are beholden to special interests and all of them spend like there’s no tomorrow.

Both parties were only too happy to quickly shove DOGE in a dark corner when the waste and absurdity was getting put under a spotlight.

Taxation without representation.

If only our Founders had left something for us to go by if ever faced with such a system.

Republicans want Americans to compete with the global talent pool for jobs.
Democrats want to actively take jobs away from white males and give them to unqualified DEI morons.

And you are totally wrong about the alphabet mafia.

Republicans have been purging the alphabet mafia.

There are no gay or straight republicans who think gays should be indoctrinating kids.

Thats a Democratic party platform.

Good luck expecting men to do anything about it. Most would rather sit on their fat arse watching football or driving around in a 100k truck with a "I love my wife" sticker on the window. We've become a country of pussy whipped bitches.

A more effective graph would show where the debt was when the admin took office and when it went out,
