did people really have sauces or did they get lucky?

im positive there were posters starting threads with fake info trolling but im curious if some had actual info . like tigerdroppings.com internet user American gangster .

Likely a combination of both. Think about how many people visit this site, especially LSU fans. If you’re a huge Tiger fan or connected in some ways you have at the very least heard about Tiger Droppings, and at most have a handle here.
There have been numerous examples of there being “inside information” that has gone on here, and people calling things well in advance.
Now, did everyone claiming Wade was coming have a source? That is unlikely, as once the ball goes tumbling down the mountain “Wade is returning” everybody wants to hop on the bandwagon, and claim they know something before others, or want to jump on the hot topic, or popular topic. Every LSU fan knows how popular Wade is, and how well received a reunion would be.
So it is probably a mix of both. If 100 people claimed to have inside information on Wade’s return, maybe 25 of them had first hand information on it, and the rest were jumping on the bandwagon and calling their shot.

I was told on the Monday before Mardi Gras that it was a done deal. Everything he said was right on the money. I communicated that here with a disclaimer that I have no direct source. He even had the contract numbers before they were made public today. I was kind of shocked that it came true!

I happened to be in position to have a casual conversation with one of the major players in this thing around the end of January. What I was told then was that it was just a matter of getting the money lined up. Confirmation that there was mutual interest and desire. I haven’t seen this person since then, so I haven’t been able to get updates. However I left that conversation confident that Wade would be coming home this year. Does that mean I had a “source”? I don’t know about all that. it just means I was fortunate enough to talk with this person at the right time, and because of some other relationships they trusted me to say what they did.

It’s very basic knowledge that anybody with firsthand connections is not posting on a message board.
There will always be a stray child or pathetic uncle that over hears things at dinner, that will come here and post second hand information.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I know for a fact there are people in the know on this site AND I know for a fact that the people we talk about read this site. Especially when something big is happening.

It was always too much of a coincidence for Will Wade to be coaching in Lake Charles. Only thing that got me was LSU didn’t hire WW straight from McNeese last season. But LSU needed major leadership changes for it to happen which is why it didn’t happen last season.
