First you have to have a system. Then you have to have players who fit within that system. That can overcome some set backs. We have neither.

True but they are up 23 with 14 three pointers against what is supposed to be a tough gritty defensive team. Toppin is really good but their defense isn’t giving them a chance because Bama is shooting lights out. No excuses.

Definately a well oiled machine they have there. Bama might be getting hot at the right time, it’s quite the luxury for everything to not have to go exactly right for you to win.

That would be Texas Tech. ANOTHER team that has overcome a season ending injury to their best player to go on to have a successful season.

Our EPIC FAILURE: NO CHANCE!!

He’s an idiot. It’s the loose rims that McMahon couldn’t fix.

The hay was in the barn, the regular season was almost over when he was injured and they didn't lose another starter nor were they rebuilding a program afteer being under the cloud of NCAA investigation. They also have a big money bags oilman who has funded all sports - see football, women's softball ( got the shamu in the circle from Stanford.)

Toppin is one of the best players in the nation, none of our players come close to being that

Aden Holloway averaged 17ppg. That's a good amount of ppg to lose. Oats just knows what he's doing and has his system in place. It's next guy up and they have performed. Not only that, but Alabama has had to play 13 different starting lineups this season due to several injuries to key players that have plagued the team for the majority of the season, yet he still finished second place in the SEC and now has his team in another Sweet 16.

There's no excuse for McMahon. He's just a terrible HC.

You sound more pathetic with each post.

If If If. He could've, he would've except for things NO OTHER coach (despite numerous examples), could ever overcome.

You get the job done, or you don't.

Why not just put an exclamation point after your sentence instead of creating another one word sentence that says “PERIOD!!!!!”?

That can’t be true only MM has to deal with injuries.

But to the point teams win with injuries when they have a real coach and real system they run and recruit to.

Oats is as big of a dick bag as possible but his system works and he recruits to it. MM doesn’t have a system and he actually manages to not put the right system with any of the players he recruits.

You haters got to admit, Oats knows how to coach something Wade and Coach Mac was lacking.
