Sad situation for a beautiful woman and her family. RIP to Mrs. Grezaffi.
She was 27 years old.

WEST FELICIANA PARISH — A crash on the compounds of Angola has left one woman dead with State Police troopers now investigating what led up to the deadly crash.
The deceased has been identified as Tyler Grezaffi, who worked at Angola.
It was around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th when Grezaffi went off the roadway for unknown reasons into a ditch. The ditch was full of water and her car overturned in it. Grezaffi did not survive the crash.
She used to work at the Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Office as a deputy prior to moving to Angola to become an investigator.
“Tyler was a beautiful soul who brought light to everyone around her — both within our department and throughout the community. Her kindness, dedication, and bright spirit left a lasting impression on those who knew and worked alongside her. At the time of her passing, Tyler was proudly serving at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, continuing her commitment to a career in public service,” Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Dept. shared to their Facebook page.
Grezaffi’s dad is also in law enforcement and currently works at the PCPSO.
“Many of us have had the privilege of watching Tyler grow up over the years as she followed in her father’s footsteps and became part of our law enforcement family,” the statement continued.
Troopers continue investigating the crash. No further details have been released at this time.

Odd circrumstances to just go off the road on property like that. Some sort of medical event perhaps?

The ditch must have been really deep for the car to overturn in it. Article said it was full of water so it’s possible she couldn’t get out of the car and drowned

What was she investigating?

With power windows it would be impossible to roll down and the pressure is too strong to open the door. Is this correct? Or does it have to be deep water? I'm thinking she was unconscious in this situation

Angola is a big place. Miles of paved roads through mostly agricultural fields. Speed is unrestricted and self-policed. Bad wrecks have happened before.

That was her job - investigator.

Typically the power windows will still work for a while (until the battery discharges below 11v or so). Correct about unable to open the doors until pressure is equalized (cabin mostly filled with water)

This is very sus to me.
Young healthy person veers off the road in broad daylight at 4:30pm?
No one can find her? Were there not signs of the car leaving the road? Damage to grass/trees, skid marks, etc?
They drove by several times but never saw her until someone got out and looked? wtf.
She’s a law enforcement official at 4:30pm on a weekday, so being under the influence isn’t as likely.
Seems very odd.

I hunt near angola. That terrain is no joke. Some of those ravines are pretty deep

At a prison that houses the State's most dangerous felons, there are lots of horrible crimes that need to be investigated. Bad people don't stop doing bad things just because they are in prison.
That's why they have investigators.
