Made the mistake of scouting in August this time last year hoping i would see sign for early bow season. I ended up being a broken man full of sweat and spider webs. Snakes were bad too.

Especially good advice. T baw and crew are itching to pull that trigger
Been looking at the cart. Looks like it'll be a wise investment considering i walk at least 200 yards in the woods

Excellent advice.

Thanks man
I’m talking tools and such. How to hunt it I got down
Any public land that’s available for deer hunting
Over thinking is my worst enemy lol.

But my phone died in the middle of that ice storm last year right at dark. Navigating out was not fun.

Edit: portable battery broke that day

OB,

Still getting the hang of hunting public land. Trying to figure out what I need next year in case I get in a bind.

Items y’all recommend that’s essential for public? Like a compass, first aid, multi tool, etc?

Thanks.

I do too but then you watch those videos of the wolves and coyotes eating elk/deer or the african wild dogs (land piranhas) tear a gazelle apart while its screaming and fighting for life and then I dont feel as bad after putting an arrow or bullet in a deer
