He would be a very good addition at 8. I know I’m biased, but I think he makes our secondary much stronger.

One of the more important pro days as far as impacting who goes where in the top 10

Would be kind of a let down to me if this is who we ended up with. This would be like a oh darn all the guys we really wanted are gone so let pick next best available

He’s the best corner available but he’s not seen as an elite corner

If we have the chance to get a truly elite prospect that’s what we should focus on.. styles, Reese, downs, etc

I doubt we take him at 8 and it is not their MO to trade down.

watched him in college and I didn't come away thinking he should be a first round pick. He can possibly be a decent starter in the NFL but I dont see him being some kind of big time difference maker. If he was still there in the 3rd (which it seems he wont be) then I would consider him there if the saints are looking for a CB

Mansoor would be a good, safe pick. Best way to describe him is solid. The temptation, however, is to shoot for the moon with Styles, Love, or Downs - all of whom play lower valued positions. Honestly, the smart thing might be drafting a WR - the cap value of the WR position has gotten ridiculous and it is a need for the Saints, even with Olave.

I sure don't see any single WR worth a top ten pick.

All depends on if Styles is there. I would take Mauigoa over Delane to have a solidified front tbh

You can’t teach instincts and he has a nose for the ball like a bloodhound. If he’s there I run my pick up there and you no longer have to worry about finding a #1 CB. I’d love to take AJ Haulcy as well. He’d bring a hard hitting presence to the safety spot.

He needs to have an explosive pro day in his jumps, runs and 3 cone, because his physical profile is poor. Short arms, even wing span, tiny hands.

Its less about being worth a Top 10 pick and more about worth vs a defender in the Top 10.

If Styles/ Downs are gone we are left with Bain/ Delane/ Tate and maybe a top 2 OL. I think we take a chance on Bain/ Delane > WR when there's value in Rd2 WR's.

The Chiefs need Bain, Delane and Tate. The Bengals need Bain/ Delane and do not need Tate.

If Tate doesn't go to NYG/ CLE at 5/6 he will either go #9 to the Chiefs or slip outside of the Top 10. And I'd be suprised if NYG pass on Bailey/ Styles or CLE an OL.

If he is there we have to take. No way I want Kool Aid on an elite WR

I want a more impactful player @8. I really like the corner from Toledo 2nd or 3rd round.

He’s definitely a first rounder, but I’m not sure if he’s a top 10 pick. He has the production but not so much athleticism but they say he played with a core injury all year.

What part of his game isn’t elite to you?
No TDs and penalties given up for a full season is pretty damn elite to me.
