It was pretty awesome. We had third row seats. It was easily the best play I’ve ever seen.

Beautiful voices and masterful singing that’s about as good as it gets. It included almost every scene from the movie from the early 2000s.

I saw Phantom in Houston, and agree it is awesome.

Very powerful and well produced, though to be fair also rather derivative in the sense that the point of the story seemed to be the "the monster is actually the loving, caring figure and - get this - we are the monsters."

Whether we're talking Homer's cyclops story, Out of Darkness, Apocalypse Now/Deer Hunter type movies, or even children's stories like Beauty & the Beast, the point is basically the same and easily and early recognized.

I do, however, like the message of of not judging others until you've walked in their shoes and that those on the outside living in pain should be reached out to - not in pity but rather bc they too have real value - is certainly worth keeping in mind at all times. But for happenstance that could be me or thee.

Saw it last Thursday, splurged on great seats for my lady and I loved it. Different level of performance than anything I’ve ever experienced.

It’s a great thing and thanks for sharing about it.

There are several OT posters that have no idea about shows like this and will want to shite all over your post.
But they will go see a nameless country act in 90 degree weather and feel superior about it. LOL

My fiancee and I took a trip to New Orleans last weekend to see it for her birthday. It was excellent. We really enjoyed it.

Sounds like a fantastic experience for you and one of the many reasons my dad was tGOAT.

We went to see phantom at Her Majesty theater in London and had good seats - problem was, there was a big arse column right in front of us 5 minutes later (and more than likely several thousand $$ later), we had 3rd row seats.

That is a wonderful play with not only a great storyline, but the music was tops.
