Proves two things -
1. Immigration needs to be significantly curtailed. Perhaps even a moratorium until we can figure out who’s here.
2. America’s national security isn’t enhanced by our presence in the Middle East. We are less safe because of preemptive attacks, and more likely to create refugees who will abuse our system.

Given his bias, I might have done the same. Albeit he might have considered the karma of supporting or justifying decades of Jihadist murders of innocent children. Hell, they put their military assets behind their women and children.

I'm not sure I agree with that but it's a valid issue to raise. If nothing else we should be asking questions about what we do with that presence, because you can clearly make things worse by creating new zealots.
