My guess is they had intel the new Ayatollah or at least very high ranking member of the regime and IRGC were hiding in a bunker

as impressive as this air campaign is, how do you get regime change without at least putting some people on the ground?

Our tax dollars hard at work. I haven’t heard if MOAB has been used in this campaign but those are expensive too lol. MOAB explodes above ground while the MOP actually burrows into the earth and explodes. The folks in Iran sure did get one hell of a fireworks show.
