Their internal audit and compliance/fraud program needs a complete overhaul, literally need to fire every dumbass that works on that team
What a colossal failure

Clearly, she is an awful person and I am glad she was caught. But you have to respect the hustle.

I wonder how many cards they would give someone? I applied and got their $50 bonus (or whatever it is) twice in like 20 years, but if you really worked at it I wonder how many seperate lines of credit you could get?

I really don't understand why companies like HD and DG aren't spending tons of money on rfid'ing every product and creating instant checkouts. Seems like it would pay for itself in no time.

Baby Tac's ole lady? Explains so much.

Got a $50 specialty plumbing tool I knew I would only use once and returned it to Lowes the same day in like new condition.
Felt like shite about it. Blows my mind people can do that with no remorse.

I knew a guy in high school 10+ years ago that would steal items from HD and then return them at different locations, and at that point they were still giving cash. He obviously never had any receipts so their system has been shite for years apparently

Perp exactly as I imagined.

I knew a guy 20 years ago that would treat Wal Mart like rent-a-center. He'd buy a TV and game console and use it until the day the return policy elapsed then he'd return it. At the time they had a no questions asked return policy.

I did it with a $100 laser level to hang some pictures at the house.
Only time I have ever done it

Old Navy got killed giving cash back without receipts. They all changed decades ago.

I can't stand serial returners.
If i buy something and it turns out to be the wrong product because I made a mistake, I throw it away or give it away. It's not the store's fault I bought the wrong item and it's not the poor guy's fault that unknowingly buys a product that's been opened, the packaging torn open and then returned.
I suck it up and learn and move on.

I’d be interested in seeing how she’s gonna come up with $288k to pay back HD.
Probably gonna scam someone else
