yeah, if you want to argue semantics lots of people aren't getting an actual "refund".

been going on for years like that in Texas. Local used car lots do their best business in the first 4 months of the year because of the tax returns.

I am grateful this has been fixed.
On the other hand, seems to be a pretty damned obvious abuse of the system. Helps us realize how many elected officials knew and either looked the other way or were complicit. F*ckers.
Hoping Trump can finish the job and nuke the rest of our bullshite federal tax code and get rid of the IRS altogether.
How about a flat tax at a lower rate? Exempt seniors and disabled people. Or if that's not achievable because of the "muh fairness to poor people" crowd, how about a simple 3-tiered structure? Whatever.
Just a simpler code, with lower actual tax rates, and get rid of all these damned loop holes that don't do honest people much good anyway.

The US taxpayer is sitting on $39 trillion of debt, a lot of that debt is untraceable, the US government doesn't know or want to admit where it went. Nothing can shock me when it comes to where our hard earned money was squandered and how much was outright stolen.

All foreign ITIN workers should have to pay at a flat tax at the highest tax bracket with no deductions and Never should they receive a refund of more than they paid
