Elton John resurrected Sedaka’s career as I recall.

I *think* his career rebirth started when The Captain & Tenille rerecorded his song 'Love Will Keep Us Together'. That was followed shortly by the duet with Elton John on 'Bad Blood'.

All of this was many moons ago. RIP Neil.

Devastated seems a little overboard for an 86 yr old dieing. I could understand sad.

Laughter in the Rain is such a melodic feel-good song.

MANY many moons ago.. i am Gen X but i have distinct memories from when i was 2.5 and 3 years old.. i can remember riding with mom to the post office in the green Oldsmobile with vinyl seats …. And that song by Captain & Tenille was playing ALL the time on AM radio.. i even remember Tenille at the end of the song singing ‘Sedaka is back’ as an ode to Neil who had written the song as part of his comeback .. What a time to be alive
