Literally got weighed and measured. No 40, no bench press, nothing. He's viewed as a round 3-4 pick. Could have made himself a lot of money with a good combine. Guess it makes sense given his inconsistency of effort at LSU.

Doesn’t make a ton of sense to me. He needs every opportunity to show he can play linebacker at the next level, a good combine showing could’ve jumped him into 2-3rd round contention.

Puts a LOT of pressure to perform at his pro day.

He'll probably do all of those drills at pro day

He'll do every drill at the pro day. Half the guys don't participate in anything at the combine anymore. They go for interviews and measurements. That's it.

Not surprised you weren't aware of that though.

Perk became a huge pussy and low effort player. Not surprising.

Half huh? Name the top 15 LB and DL, then tell us the half that didn't participate.

I’ve said this before and stand by the opinion that I think his most basic issues in finding a suitable position is straight up football IQ.

He is not the sharpest Tool.

We played him at every damn position and he was still was inconsistent.

It doesn’t just all of a sudden come together in the pros.

But good luck though

Weird assertion, considering He’s the best coverage and pass rush LB in lsu history

Playing the “star” was bad for his stock and the team, considering he was the best pass rusher on the team last year and was forced to play more in coverage.

What’s the advantage of skipping?

The advantage is a friendlier, more familiar environment at LSU; more time to prepare. Since every NFL team will be at LSU Pro Day. It is better to do it here especially for QB's, and WR's.

Perkins has a ton of tape. He has to win the interviews and can only hurt himself if he has a bad combine.

Agreed, he got bad advice. He could have shown out against EVERY GUY he is competing against to be drafted. Stand toe to toe with the competition and show them how you stack up.

While he'll do the events at the LSU Pro Day, it's not the same IMO when you are trying to move up rounds and make $$$. Hope he puts on a show at the Pro Day to help himself.....

Weird choice for a guy who would have likely been a combine freak. Maybe battling an injury.

He's a tweener...Too small for linebacker and not fast enough to play safety. I'd be surprised if he's on an NFL roster for opening weekend and probably out of the league all together in 3-4 years. JMO
