I’d say China views Iran as a customer.

We’ve sold a lot of weapons to unsavory places, too, and were more concerned with them not using them on us than dictating who else they used them on.

If we are going to divvy up the world with this measuring stick, it will be a lot messier than most people realize.

China may take delivery from Iran one Ayatollah with soiled pants. I doubt Iran will take delivery on any type of anti ship missiles in enough time or quantity to do them any good.

Can’t say I’ve heard of any missile that’s subsonic.

Being 'capable' of sinking US naval vessels doesn't account for the probability.

I chuckle with ya. The V2 was launched over 80 years ago, the first supersonic missile. Somehow the media has convinced the public its a "new" technology and the US has no answer.

Actually I should say the MIC told the MSM to convince the public. So now we need another trillion to combat this "new" threat.

The new ones are hypersonic, not supersonic, and it is relatively new tech, mainly the advances of heat resistant materials.

We have answers, but it doesn't sound like we'll make an A+ if the test is tomorrow.


ETA I was wrong, the model I saw mentioned was supersonic, not hypersonic. Still an issue depending on numbers but not nearly the threat the new stuff is.
