He was completely feckless during his state’s fire crisis just a year ago. His state is seeing outbound migration of high earners and businesses. What is different about him running than Kathleen Blanco in 2007? Is this the best they’ve got?

you arent missing anything. The people telling you that he is a viable presidential candidate who is leading JD Vance in the polls are the same people who told you that the polar ice caps would melt in 10 years, we need only two weeks to flatten the curve, that Joe Biden was sharp as a tack, that Donald Trump was a Russian super spy, that you could keep your doctor if you like your doctor.... I could go on forever.
