El Mayo, the godfather of the drug business ended up in the US last year. Many think it was to spend some time with his boys in witness protection before he dies. The man has never been arrested before that, has 10s of billions and ended up flying to the US and getting "arrested".
He would have the payoffs to everyone in the Mexican govt dating back to that slime Salinas....with the receipts. I bet the US used that as leverage to tell the mexican govt to get off their arse and do something. In the past year they have handed over 92 high ranking members of various cartels and now this.
