I wish the kid well, but he’s out of his league. He hasn’t done anything with his opportunities last year and so far this year. The team was on fire yesterday, except for him. Time to move on Jay

Agreed. I’d like to see Harden start until Stanfield is healthy

He also had a nice 2rbi bunt hit

Yeah I’d love to see Harden get a start. You have nothing to lose trying it.

Jay Johnson isn't blind. He knows what he's doing. Trust him.

I trust Jay 100% and don’t question who, or what he does.

But… with that being said, Reeves has numerous shortcomings.

Jay has a soft spot for reaves. Reaves had no business returning to LSU with this roster and he has no business starting anywhere much less LF.

Reaves is hitting .333 with an OBP of .412; both are currently better than Curiel (that will change). He has 4 runs scored and 3 RBIs.

And Jake Brown.

Reaves was 1-5 with 2 RBIs. Brown was 0-5 with 1 RBI. The only guy on the team with more RBIs was Yorke with 4.

Time for some of you to figure out Jay knows his team and baseball better than you do.

But I'd prefer to see Braun over Reaves or maybe Harden.

Can't wait for Stanny to return.

Reaves does seem a notch below other guys. But, Jay brought him back for a reason. And, that has tended to work out for us. I wouldn't be shocked to see Reaves play a big part on this team late in the season. Or, he doesn't and we move on.

Either way, we shouldn't judge this early and throw him away for the whole season.

Two bad ABs but then layed down a beautiful bunt that helped bust it open. It’s baseball and Jay knows more than us!

I’ll let Jay know that TT from Tigerdroppings has it all figured it out with a much more limited sample size than Jay has.

I’m sure he’ll follow up with an offer to become an analyst for him so he can finally get off the hot seat.

No need to tell Jay anything, he obviously agreed with this.

This

JJ earned this respect and trust from one of the toughest fan bases in collegiate baseball history. Since the Tulane regional game where he played Skenes, I’ll never doubt that man again

Brought him back for insurance and a left handed bat off the bench.

Ahhhh the fans that know more than a coach that’s won 2 championships in a short period of time in a sport that’s extremely hard to do that…..

One thing I've noticed with Reaves is he's almost late on everything. He's not picking the ball up very well. Every out or hit is to left field.

There’s a big portion of the rant who will never admit this and will scream that he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
