Is this for real ? I mean this is incredible if true. It's sort of hard to comprehend that that many people went to see Nichols on a Wednesday in the middle of thew day.

Actual? Doubtful.
Paid? Likely.

The video I saw looked pretty empty, but no doubt that’s the paid attendance with season tickets sold plus SRO tickets for the people there today.

It was very sparse at the beginning of the game and the crowd built later. But no way in hell there were 11,000 people there.

Did not seem that way in tv. It was still an impressive crowd for a 1 pm game on a Wednesday

Even WBRZ sports reported that number and it's listed in the box score. I heard that and was like no way.

I'd say the Box was about 3/4ths full. Only thing is it was alot of families and not rowdy regular fans. In my section there were about a half dozen season ticket holders and the rest were families and fill ins

It seems there were more actual fans there today than monday night. That surprised me

I was there. Definitely wasn’t 11,000 but I wouldn’t say empty. More than most midweek matchups.

Very true. Was in attendance and it looked like an SEC Sunday crowd.

Really good crowd for mid day Wednesday. By far, the worst traffic day of the season. Nightmare getting in.

When Carraway hit his shot I thought about his family must be amazed there was even anybody out there to catch it.

Watching on tv it looked like about 5 thousand.

The listed attendance is pretty meaningless these days. Back in the old days, attendance meant "butts in the seats". Now it means tickets sold.

5 K tops, this is how you lead the world in attendance every year……

Has to be paid attendance. I was there. Chairback section was 75-80% full. Down the foul lines, 30-40%. Outfield, <30%.
But for a February Wednesday game on Ash Wednesday against Nichols, it was still a damn good crowd.

They always report paid attendance, not actual

Not actual attendance. Tickets sold which includes season tickets.
